Hrm, curiosity on general opinion: Do you describe what quarians look like in your fic or will you? Or do you try to avoid specific descriptions?

Avoid, same as Buddha.

Also, how is your story progressing? Last I heard it was 1/3 done. 

Bought half, but won't have time to really finish until I get home in a few hours. Even on a slow day I can't write at my usual speed unless I'm at home.

Fried varren, skewered chaffa, rack of Thresher Maw, and stewed Pyjack. Served with fries and drinks (usually Ryncol, but this is a family restaraunt, so there's coke and less potent alcohol for turians and other such lightweights). I hear the food's good there, but the barstools are bolted to the floor and everyone has to bring their own pool cues, so it's not really a krogan good time.

On a side -yet Tali related- note: I actually think Tali has one of the higher alcohol tolerances of all the people on the Normandy, somewhere in the Shepard - Grunt range. The reason why is that the Migrant Fleet needs to preserve resources and space to a maximum, and as many things as possible must have varying utilities. Quarian liquor then would also probably be some kind of substance that serves triple duty as antiseptic, intoxicant, and engine degreaser. You know, 80 to 100-plus proof rotgut. Where other people drink beer or wine coolers, quarians start in on hard liquor. Hell, she might even appreciate turian beer just for the novelty of it all.

Unlike everybody else he mentioned, the quarians never did anything to the krogan.  In a sense, the quarians are already prey for them.
