I don't really use any of the armor sets. I really don't like how you can't see Shepard's face during conversations. I find the regular headgear distracting enough already, a full helmet is not any better.
True.
I would beat a baby with a puppy if I could remove the helmet on the Blood Dragon armor.

There's a new armor DLC. With removeable pieces and a helmet that's not covering his mouth. Good enough for me.

The new armor is at least interchangeable such that you don't have to wear the helmet. They might never allow for a toggle function in ME2, but sounds like they've heard the complaints and are trying to accommodate.Azint wrote...

Or take that helmet and put it on a armor set that I've made. And be able to repaint it. That's what BW should've done from the very beginning.

It took me a little under 2 hours. To give you a comparison, it takes me a bit over 24 hours to complete Dragon Age, doing all the quests.

I've been debating getting it. It's 160 MS Points. The rational part of me says don't even think about it. The more dominant irrational part of me wants that sniper rifle.

Well, at least it's better than the Equalizer Pack that just gave me two new helmets and a armor that I already have. For the same price.
