I'm actually considering using that ship I posed on the previous screen and just adding title text.

Back when I made this, the only good quarian ship illustration was the one in the art book.

Ok mini fic idea,maybe get some life back into this place.

Its movie night on the Normandy and joker one the coin toss for first pick, and he boots up the Matrix. capture Tali's reactions throughout the movie and the crews reaction to her GO!

Tali was furious.  The film their bosh'tet pilot had subjected the crew to had left her seething.  She could not even look at the geth platform amongst them at this point.  Why would he make us watch this....this....horror?  She was so angry, her grumbles of displeasure were audible to the human that was lounging next to her.

Judging from how tense she sat next to him, Shepard figured that Tali was probably as angry now as she had been months ago after Legion had scanned her omni-tool.  Hoping to diffuse the situation, he put his hand on her should and rubbed gently, trying to sooth her.  He felt her tense briefly, then begin to calm.

"So what did everyone think?"  Joker asked from his place in the room.  He was smiling; despite its age, he thoroughly enjoyed the classic piece of cinema humans called The Matrix.  He was not prepared for the quarian to leap to her feat.

She shot to her feet, her anger returned.  "How could you make us watch something so horrible Joker?"  She nearly shouted at him.  "You, Bosh'tet!    That could have been us!  And you thought it was a good film?"

Everyone quieted.  Nearly as one, the away team turned to glance at Joker.  His look of surprise nearly made Jack snicker - until she looked over at the quarian, who was nearly shaking in rage.

John stood, placing himself between Tali and Jeff.  "Tali, it's just a film," he began.  He held a hand up when it looked like she would argue.  "Yes, it is horrifying what happened to the living, breathing people.  But that's not what we should be taking away from the story."

"No, the real story is that, despite everything the machines tried, they could not stamp out the individuality, and the will to live from people."  He smiled softly, as he saw her visibly begin to relax.  "That all it takes sometimes is one person to stand up and say 'enough is enough'. 

Joker nodded.  "I'm sorry Tali.  I didn't think when I selected it.  My bad," he said with genuine remorse.

After a moment, Tali finally relaxed.  "I am sorry for yelling," she began.  "It is a very sensitive subject."

"It is, and it was wrong to have it brought up so casually," the commander agreed easily.  "In the future, let's think a little more carefully about what is we're watching when we try to relax."  He shook his head.  "It would be just as bad to force some of us to sit through The Citadel."

Tali:  Looks clear.  So clear, in fact, that Admiral Ackbar would have something to say about it.

Shepard:  I... Erm... Wh- *His eyes widen* Oh.  Alright.  We'll be down shortly.  *Cuts Comm Link*

Garrus:  What was that about?

Shepard:  Me and her have been watching some real old movies...

Garrus:  And what does this... "Admiral Ackbar" have to do with it?

Shepard:  It's a trap, Garrus.  The landing zone...  It's a trap.
