Edit: and reading your above, sure. But that's generalizing.

You're right, it's generalizing. I should have clarified that I was speaking from what I've read myself, from my own experience and my own opinion. I can read other fanfiction of other fandoms without caring, just not ME.

Is Condemned worth a rental? Or would a purchase do it justice?

It was a launch title for the 360, wasn't it?

And the combat was great too.  I think it was one of the first to really get melee combat right.  It just felt so brutal, and they didn't have arcade-y "combos".

Like I said, Bumfights.

Give a man a length of electrical conduit and he's tough.  Give a man a fireaxe and he's god.

Really.  The atmosphere is so.... I can't even explain it.  You got a serial killer, a city falling apart, and CSI-y stuff galore.

And all the crazy crap with the dead birds and such...  I thought the choice at the end was awesome, too.

I played half an hour of it. I cracked a wooden beam over a junkie's skull as he was on his kness, dazed.

I lol'd.

Rent, probably.  Depends on how fast you finish stuff.  I played it on PC.

Well he's kinda working on one.

And for what it's worth; I'm loving it.

For the record, NuclearBuddha, I could stand to read some (if not all) of yours because it's well written and interesting. The problem is, most fanfiction probably is not as well written and interesting, and therefore any OOCness is infinitely more glaring.

It was a launch title.  I would say its a strong rent, mostly because there is no multiplayer or "excessive" replay value.  But then again, you could probably get it REAL cheap...

Yeah, it was close to launch. You could probably get a copy for next to nothing now.

Fair, then.  But you can't complain about a lack of discussion when someone presents their argument to you and you decline to read it.  At least, you can't complain about the lack from them.

Oh, I'm not saying anyone should read my stuff.  That's not the point.

And for the record, I tend to agree that most of it is crap.  But so is most of everything else.

Hmmmm.

*thinks of ideas for conversation*

Alright I've got one.

Pick one person from another Game universe to bring into ME one for a Squadmate, one for an Ally, and one for an enemy.

In this particular case, all Rip said was to read his fanfiction. That's not really discussion, that's telling me to read it.

That's all. It could justmean "hey, read my fanfiction!" it could mean "hey, rael is in my fanfiction, read it!" it could mean "hey, disillusioned Tali in my fanfiction, read it!" I don't know what he meant besides "read my fanfiction" and since I don't read fanfiction, I said I don't read fanfiction. If he would post his ideas about rael and his effect on Tali, I'd be happy to read and respond to them if they are not in fanfiction format.

I saw, but I have faith that you guys will get things on track in your own time.
If not, then I'm just happy for what there was.

I told you, I'll figure something out for my next session. Beyond that, we can just wing it. I believe you said that was more your style.

I gathered that part. What am I not being persuasive about? If you even want to answer.
