I find that there can be greater chance for misinterpretation on the internet. Just the way it is. I realize that I've been obtuse and confrontational. Yea, it's bad. It's a bit of a habit at times. Mostly just with this thread though.NuclearBuddha wrote...

You know, that reminds me. I had a sad thought today. It was adult Raela giving a speech at her fathers eulogy. It was sad how I pictured it in my mind, but it was very touching and gave that ultimate closure.RiptideX1090 wrote...

READ IT. <_<
Like a devine intervention of a sort.
Well...
Shepard IS space-Jesus.
Went something like this...
Mood music.
Raela: I... I can't thank you enough father. You've given me and mother so much love, that words cannot even begin to describe it... Growing up, I would hear stories of you and mother and the great things you've done. It... It was hard to believe, even for me at times. How you first met mother... how you defeated Saren with her at your side... and how you were taken from her, only to return to enrich her life once more... and then how I came into both of your lives...
...You've taught us that there's always another, better way. That everyone, even those who we consider corrupt and evil, deserves another chance. *Voice starts to waiver* You have a big heart father, I-I know that... That I'm adopted, that biologically... we're not...related... but father, *looks to Tali, who's trying her best to keep her composure* mother... I will always be your little girl.
*Walks over to the coffin where Shepard's body rests, and tenderly places her hand on his cheek *
...Thank you, father, you will always be with me and mother, in our heart's... Rest now...
I love you.
Yeah, it went something like that. Funny what a 30 minute car ride to KFC produces.

So...has anything interesting happened lately?

Movie Night Drama
Here is the first entry, off of a prompt by nickFury.
-----------------
Tali was furious. The film their bosh'tet pilot had subjected the crew to had left her seething. She could not even look at the geth platform amongst them at this point. Why would he make us watch this....this....horror? She was so angry, her grumbles of displeasure were audible to the human that was lounging next to her.
Judging from how tense she sat next to him, Shepard figured that Tali was probably as angry now as she had been months ago after Legion had scanned her omni-tool. Hoping to diffuse the situation, he put his hand on her should and rubbed gently, trying to sooth her. He felt her tense briefly, then begin to calm.
"So what did everyone think?" Joker asked from his place in the room. He was smiling; despite its age, he thoroughly enjoyed the classic piece of cinema humans called The Matrix. He was not prepared for the quarian to leap to her feat.
She shot to her feet, her anger returned. "How could you make us watch something so horrible Joker?" She nearly shouted at him. "You, Bosh'tet! That could have been us! And you thought it was a good film?"
Everyone quieted. Nearly as one, the away team turned to glance at Joker. His look of surprise nearly made Jack snicker - until she looked over at the quarian, who was nearly shaking in rage.
John stood, placing himself between Tali and Jeff. "Tali, it's just a film," he began. He held a hand up when it looked like she would argue. "Yes, it is horrifying what happened to the living, breathing people. But that's not what we should be taking away from the story."
"No, the real story is that, despite everything the machines tried, they could not stamp out the individuality, and the will to live from people. "He smiled softly, as he saw her visibly begin to relax. "That all it takes sometimes is one person to stand up and say 'enough is enough'."
Joker nodded. "I'm sorry Tali. I didn't think when I selected it. My bad," he said with genuine remorse.
After a moment, Tali finally relaxed. "I am sorry for yelling," she began. "It is a very sensitive subject."
"It is, and it was wrong to have it brought up so casually," the commander agreed easily. "In the future, let's think a little more carefully about what is we're watching when we try to relax. "He shook his head. "It would be just as bad to force some of us to sit through The Citadel."
