The whole parents thing is actually one of the reason I'm glad I went for 'Spacer' long ago in ME1. Adds a whole new dynamic.

I did it because Tali is kind of a Spacer as well. Feels like there's a better connection between the two that way.

And who doesn't want a mom who commands one of the Alliance dreadnoughts?

Well back when I played ME1 I didn't even know of Tali's existence. The choice just worked out well.

Removed image spam from the last few pages. We've been REALLY lenient with the character threads up to this point, but if it's all just going to devolve into spamming, chatter and memes, I have no problem at all with locking them all and banning them completely.

If I receive another complaint about this thread and have to come back to a few pages of off-topic chatter, memes, and image spam, I will lock this thread and not allow any more to be started. I also will have no problem with spending an evening going through the last few pages of the thread, editing, removing, and banning inappropriate content. I doubt anyone wants to be known as the person who got the Tali thread shut down.

So if you wish to continue having a Tali thread to talk about Tali in, play nice and show us that you can be responsible for one. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our community or this message, please let me know. Thank you.

Funny you mentioned that...Im Colonist/Sole Survivor Shepard. And my Ashley LI died on Virmire so I could make sure Kaidan set up the bomb.

Mine in both game and fic is Spacer/Sole Survivor.
Sole Survivor is less about being cool and more about giving him something significant in his past that isn't a glorious victory. It shows that he can keep going, even in the worst circumstances.

my Shepard is earthborn/war hero gives him the chance to rise apove himself.
