I don't think comfort comes into it.  They're struggling just to survive.

Would have to come into some condiration. If the temperature is to hot then no one is going to want to work, if the temperature is to cold they would be to busy trying to keep warm to work. With out their people working to survive then they wouldn't so some confirt has to have been made for temperature and Humidity. Currently its over 100 outside even the farmer hands are taking a break to it cools down. As far as food I don't believe their going to be eating ferns, I also didn't see any buds or flowers on any of the plants so I don't believe those plants are fruit beares. Most likely their used for Organic CO2 scrubers and likely taken from their homeworld.

I think it has something to do with the coloring of the cloth on her fingers. When it's lying against the dark parts, it sort of makes her fingers look like claws.

I think this is why there haven't been proper DLC's yet. The BW dev-team is watching us, taking notes, rewriting the stuff as people come up with better ideas.
