Yes, now you are talking about the living with that love, as I like to think. The love, emotion, feeling is easy, almost and maybe accidental for Tali, as she's rescued by the dashing commander.

But living with that love, living together, enjoying it? That's the hard part.

I wouldn't say loving is easy either. It's a constant contest of will, devotion, loyalty, care, forgiveness.

The way I see it, love is hard, caring about the other person above all else, sacrificing your needs to meet the others.  Countless relationships can't meet the challenge.  For Shep/Tali though, its easy.  Doing the hard things required for love just comes natural.  Shep isn't giving up his happiness to make Tali happy because making her happy makes him happy and vice versa.  They don't have to constantly prove that they love each other because they both know it, just being together proves it.  They have to go through hardship after hardship, but they do it together, and the one thing that is never threatened is their love for each other.

That's how I interpret the easy love thing at least.
