It's not a competition.

If people feel that is the case though, I'd take it as an accomplishment.

I'm not TRYING to do that, however. Jones and I just want to write a successful story.

Guess I'm just paranoid. Trying so hard to make this story... well... good... and everything. It's left me a bit... out of focus.

I know what I'm going to draw for the next chapter. Starting has been... difficult, though.

Morning:

She isn’t sure when she fell asleep exactly, somewhere in between a series of kisses they had shared and curling herself up on her chest to listen to his heart. She could hear him snoring above her and smiled as she rose to look at him. He looked…peaceful almost. She was so used to the hard edge in his eyes and the wild smirk on his face as he charged into the fight, pistols blazing.

He stirred under her gaze and his eyes crack open. She can see the dim glow of crimson in them as he blinks the sleep away and looks at her. With a smile his hand reaches up to stroke her cheek as he leans up to kiss her. She accepts the kiss gladly her own arms moving to wrap around his neck. They roll over and now he is atop her, one hand holding him up and the behind her head. She can’t keep the smile from her as they watch each other, both so very much in love with the one they’re looking at.

Good morning beautiful.” He whispers in her ear and instinctively she holds him tighter.

She can think of nowhere else she’d rather be.
