But you'd have to rehire a LOT of voice actors...

THEN pay for new ones...

Best to keep the number of full scale voice actors down. They have to pay the ME1 and 2 squadmates for full contract anyway, since they are signed for a trilogy. Hire more is just STUPID.

Yeah, the only thing that really matters is the financial implications, but if we do want to get into the narrative aspects, some of the characters leaving makes absolutely no sense.  Really, Bioware is just waiting for when they want to drum up ME3 interest to announce it, but it shouldn't be in doubt for anyone that they're coming back.

Agreed. If they want people to buy their games, they will do what the fans want.

If they did that we wouldn't like Mass Effect in the first place.

It was their ingenuity that made us love Mass Effect it the first place.
Don't worry all, as long as Electronic Arts doesn't do anything stupid COUGH***@#@!&*MULTI*@($@(PLAYER*@!($**COUGH** BioWare will acknowledge their strengths and utilize them for a grand finale (although I'd kill to see Mass Effect 4).

Agreed. If they want people to buy their games, they will do what the fans want.
