Agreed.  If you met my Shepard in real life, you'd see his flaws right away.  He likes controlling a situation, even when he's laughing and joking with friends.  He's very stern when working on something.  And when you ****** him off or do something wrong, he'll insult you and call you stupid in a variety of colorful ways.  It gets him in trouble.  It makes conflict, and the best conflict arises from character.

Come to think of it, what are Tali's flaws besides her hatred of geth?

she can be self depreciating, lacking in confidence in certain situations where she sees herself as inadequit even when it is not the case.

I say you need flaws to learn, and others need flaws so you can teach or share your passions.
Either way, you are learning more. And hell, what is life if you aren't learning?

well too a certain degree and from a certain point of view these all are negative if you mean something that empyrically (as much as anything can be) shows her in a negative light I really cant think of anything right now, work-aholic perhaps?

Maybe.  She ain't CALIBRATING all day, though.  I guess I just like those flaws that color someone in a negative light :V

Unfortunately Bioware seems to be abit... extreme in their flaws.

ME2:
Miranda: massive inferiority complex, generally a ****
Jack: Murdering psycho suffering from years of sexual and physical abuse
Tali: Actually pretty well adjusted... but really, really hates geth. Like southern white guy in the 40s hate.
Jacob: Is a potato
Thane: deadbeat dad assassin
Garrus: Actually pretty nice. No more demons that Shepard really has depending on background.

Dragon Age:
Morrigan: Just... damn.
Leliana: Fairly well adjusted.
Alistair: Fairly well adjusted.
Zevraan: Professional killer, but alright guy. Definitely some daddy issues.

Personally I would like to have it revealed, not just for the sake of Tali's face, but just to be able to put a face to the Quarian race.
Unlike Halo, where it is just one person who isn't revealed, with Tali's case it is essentailly a whole race taht is being unmasked.

Not saying all Quarians look the same, just want to get an idea of what they look like

my theory is some kind of space elf like,asian/indian mix (this from looking at the place holder)  with some textures to make them look alittle more alien,
