It will be interesting when Ashley learns that my Shepard is now with Tali.  Though, let's be fair - the way they parted on Horizon, that smacked of breakup to me.

Bah!  Paragon Shepards would not/should not cheat.  Hence why my Colonist/War Hero Sentinel did not romance anyone, then romanced Tali.  Only way to play it.  (Also have an Earthborn/War Hero Infiltrator that stayed faithful to Ashley).

When you die and come  back from the grave  and the person has move on with there lives  ITS NOT  CHEATING...  death = end of relationship...

Legion: We are expereincing a attraction to Shepard-Commander's bottle. Can you explain?

Shepard: Oh, no. *hick* Not again. The lassst time I fell for that one, I *burp* ended up oon the couch and Tali in the bed with a hell of a hangover.

Legion: We do not understand.
*Left head flap rises*
Shepard: If that's how you areee going to play it, then you're sleeping outside.

*Slams door*

Legion: Unexpected reaction. *head flaps starts to calm down* Beginning extranet search protocols. Again.

Hey, he likes to party, okay?!

@selflessness being a flaw:

Tali is a flawed character. She could not inspire loyalty in her squad on Freedom's Progress. She could not save herself from exile alone. She may have died had Shepard not shown up to fight Tali's attackers in the alley on the Citadel. She is the second most likely to die holding the line. Her view seems to be that the Quarians were not at fault for the Morning War. She has flaws, great flaws, and that's what I like the character.

I consider her selflesness a flaw. Tali should start doing things for herself, not just other people. That was part of her character evolution in her loyalty mission and her romance.

I like Tali, but she's more interesting when she has flaws.  Complexity is awesome.  Me, I wish Tali's flaws were actually a bit more pronounced.

Character flaws add.. well.. character. I hate perfection, because there's nothing there to build on. Conflict and difference add depth and complexity to a character, which makes them more real, more interesting.

I definitely agree with that.

I hope everyone would. A character without flaw isn't a character, it's a card board cut out of an ideal.

Legion: Consensus: Zaeed is superior in battle.

Tali: That's not helping!

Legion: We will make a tactical movement and assist Zaeed in hope of further analysis.

Tali: No! I see what you're trying to do! You just want another trophy to weld to your chest.

Legion:...That is not true.

Tali: What?

Legion: No data available.

Its not cheating in my eyes because all I did was have three ambiguous conversations with her, suddenly I told her that we were soul mates meant to be together forever or something?  At least with Liara they gave us a clear relationship indicator that we could turn down.  They just threw you in a relationship with Ashley if you weren't purposefully an ass.

If the game can make stuff up, so can I.  I hope she reacted ok to the break up email I sent in response that let her down easily.  I explained how things had changed, and that I was sorry about how things turned out.  Lets see how Bioware can further throw me off the whole Shep=me thing next <_<

It's true, but Tali (understandably) seems to be excusing the Quarians from their guilt. The Quarians had a hand in this. The Geth had a right to defend themselves. What makes the Morning War not a black and white issue is the fact that AI was illegal and that the Geth nearly comitted genocide on the Quarians themselves. They are both at fault for not even attempting to communicate peace.

The geth let the quarians escape. They could have easily completely wiped all of them out and didn't. Sure, they did some pretty awful stuff too, but the quarians still want to wipe all of them out and don't see their reaction to the geth as being wrong in the first place where as the geth just want to be left the hell alone.

I was talking to Kikai, who seemed more likely to ignore the murder of billions of quarian innocents otherwise.  You and I both know that neither side has its hands clean.

Continuing Genocide.

Tali's mother died from a disease, something that may have never happened if the geth would just try TALKING to the quarians.

The quarians were wrong to make the geth. They were right to go to war with them. The geth were right to defend themselves. They are wrong to not at least speak with the quarians. Consensus must be achieved. Geth know this.
