Well...I admit, if it came down to it, Id do the same. You can rebuild a Geth. You cant rebuild a Quarian.

That's where HEALING comes in.

The geth show the quarians they WANT to have peace. Protect them from pirate and slaver attacks, help them farm for food so the quarians can regain their lost numbers. Help them rebuild. That sort of thing.

If they just SHOWED the quarians they don't want to fight, that they're sincere, after a generation or two, I'm sure most of them would adjust.

That will take a long time for it to happen. Generations, likely. I'm not doubting it can happen, I'm telling that it would not be an easy thing to do.

Nothing worth doing is done with ease.

It's tragic because many will easily give up on it. That would not make things any easier for those trying to repair.

I see this ending to ways  either Quarians  do something idiotic  and geth have no other option but to wipe them out  or  They do something stupid and get  between to the point where the realize that they listen to  Shepherd and Koris and  Legions  pleas for peace....

Tali is a flawed character. She could not inspire loyalty in her squad on Freedom's Progress. She could not save herself from exile alone. She may have died had Shepard not shown up to fight Tali's attackers in the alley on the Citadel. She is the second most likely to die holding the line. Her view seems to be that the Quarians were not at fault for the Morning War. She has flaws, great flaws, and that's what I like the character.

I consider her selflesness a flaw. Tali should start doing things for herself, not just other people. That was part of her character evolution in her loyalty mission and her romance.

It's actually what I like about her. She's not just some Mary Sue, but a heroine (who really does kick ass) who has personal family issues and social issues with her race.

Yea. It's certainly conceivable that they can live in peace though. If nothing else, ME2 foreshadowed something like that.

As to the level of planning it's just a concept right now as when I work alone I make it up as a go along, but when collabing it's easier for me to plan ahead.
