That is an inherently rascist attitude. Similar thinking was used by English Slavers and ****'s to project that by being less than human, Jews and Africans were not truely living beings.

The fact is, the geth are alive. They are DIFFERENT. But they have the same intrinsic value as any human or quarian, as it is all defined as "life". While I agree with Legion's belief that all species are different and those differences are important, the fact that they are all alive, is not different.

At any rate, it will be interesting to see where Legion and Tali end up in 3...

Do not confuse that statement with me supporting robot genocide or any other extreme. I want peace between the Geth and Quarians. Just that if I had to choose between a race, it would be the organic one every time. Crucify me for that if you want.

Well...I admit, if it came down to it, Id do the same. You can rebuild a Geth. You cant rebuild a Quarian.

It's your opinion. I respect that.

I simply do not agree with it.

I have that one, but it's a pretty sad end for the geth, so I'm just going with this instead.

Really? I just got a mental image of Tali breaking out on all four and sprinting on a treadmill like a junglecat.

Hmm, we must have the same reception.

I'm getting mixed signals...

That's where HEALING comes in.

The geth show the quarians they WANT to have peace. Protect them from pirate and slaver attacks, help them farm for food so the quarians can regain their lost numbers. Help them rebuild. That sort of thing.

If they just SHOWED the quarians they don't want to fight, that they're sincere, after a generation or two, I'm sure most of them would adjust.

That will take a long time for it to happen. Generations, likely. I'm not doubting it can happen, I'm telling that it would not be an easy thing to do.

Nothing worth doing is done with ease.

It's tragic because many will easily give up on it. That would not make things any easier for those trying to repair.

Putting value in life like that is very irresponsible.

The fact is, both sides are right, both sides are wrong.

And they're ALL idiots for not at LEAST sending messages to eachother, for going CENTURIES without trying to talk it out.

As I said. Things will have changed by the end of 3.

Well, Legion says that every time he tried to do that, he was shot at. When one side already sees you as a threat, things aren't going to soften up so easily.

Dear Creators.

We do not comprehend your actions during the Morning War. We are open to peaceful resolution. We wish to understand, and to nurture co-existance.

Geth-Collective.

Was that REALLY so hard?

With Mass  accelerated  bullets  zinging past your head ...  Yep

I see this ending to ways  either Quarians  do something idiotic  and geth have no other option but to wipe them out  or  They do something stupid and get  between to the point where the realize that they listen to  Shepherd and Koris and  Legions  pleas for peace....

Nothing worth doing is done with ease.

The Geth willingly giving the Quarians their home world and colonies back, would greatly start the healing process.

@selflessness being a flaw:
Tali is a flawed character. She could not inspire loyalty in her squad on Freedom's Progress. She could not save herself from exile alone. She may have died had Shepard not shown up to fight Tali's attackers in the alley on the Citadel. She is the second most likely to die holding the line. Her view seems to be that the Quarians were not at fault for the Morning War. She has flaws, great flaws, and that's what I like the character.

I consider her selflesness a flaw. Tali should start doing things for herself, not just other people. That was part of her character evolution in her loyalty mission and her romance.

All these things are true.

It's actually what I like about her. She's not just some Mary Sue, but a heroine (who really does kick ass) who has personal family issues and social issues with her race.

Agreed.

Even if peace was negotiated between the geth and the quarians, all that history will leave serious friction between them. Mainly on the quarian side.

Yea. It's certainly conceivable that they can live in peace though. If nothing else, ME2 foreshadowed something like that.

You ever watch that show leverage on TNT? something similar to that. big elaborate scheme to rip off a rich corrupt guy and provide leverage against them to someone said rich corrupt guy wronged.

As to the level of planning it's just a concept right now as when I work alone I make it up as a go along, but when collabing it's easier for me to plan ahead.

Never seen it, sorry.  I'm not sure how good I am at heist stories.
