That's where HEALING comes in.

The geth show the quarians they WANT to have peace. Protect them from pirate and slaver attacks, help them farm for food so the quarians can regain their lost numbers. Help them rebuild. That sort of thing.

If they just SHOWED the quarians they don't want to fight, that they're sincere, after a generation or two, I'm sure most of them would adjust.

You're earning quite a bit of Collider points tonight. I am impressed.

That's why the best possibility for peace is probably just the quarians getting Rannoch and the geth withdrawing to build their megastructure and contemplate in isolation.

But how long would that take? Did the geth even begin construction of the Dyson Sphere yet?

No, but considering they don't need to eat, they can get their building materials anywhere.  And in the mean time, they're not causing tension.

It makes sense doesnt it? All the pieces fit perfectly if you do it this way. Peace between the Quarians, stopping the geth experiments, and making sure all hostilities in a political sense are wiped out.

You are a mechanism. The only difference between you and an A.I. of equal sofistication is building material and configuration. You being made of carbon and water does not entitle you to more of a right to live than someone who is equally able to feel or think simply because they're held together with screws and bolts.
