I see this ending to ways  either Quarians  do something idiotic  and geth have no other option but to wipe them out  or  They do something stupid and get  between to the point where the realize that they listen to  Shepherd and Koris and  Legions  pleas for peace....

You being made of carbon and water does not entitle you to more of a right to live than someone who is equally able to feel or think simply because they're held together with screws and bolts.

If that's the case then I guess breaking my computer would be murder. There's no difference between an old IBM computer and and AI except that one is simply more advanced.

That's all I have to say on this matter. In the end it is just my opinion and it is not meant to offend anyone.

The idea of enslaving the Geth is disgusting and irredeemable. Just have Legion display that the Geth wants peace, and persuade the Quarians towards such a thing. No other strings attached.

And yet the ME universe makes the point of differentiating what makes a VI and an AI. Obviously, they view an AI has something beyond a simple computer or a VI.

You sound like Dr. Pulaski.  The issue isn't whether one is organic or mechanical (organisms are chemically based mechanisms), the issue is whether the mechanical is truly sapient or only a simulation of sapience.

Yeah, given any doubt I'd lean toward the organic as un-replacable and 'known' as sapient, but I wouldn't ASSUME that the non-organic wasn't.  That's merely convenience.
