Regular? I don't know about you, but when I finished a Clockwork Orange and Lord of the Flies, I had to seriously reflect the measure and worth of a human being based on the actions of out species as a whole.
CO and LotF are good, but any kind of writing is like shooting fish in a barrel. You can portray humanity however you like.
Shep had to get it from somewhere, I guess.Someone With Mass wrote...

I don't have one. Like I said, these debates aren't really grounded in reality. It's dealing with completely fictional stuff. We can barely even get robots to walk as a human would right now.RiptideX1090 wrote...

The geth do not want to die.
Does that not constitute life?
I decide I am alive.
What is your definition?
Reality is a decision. Two hundred years ago, we didn't have light bulbs. A hundred years ago, we had never left our own planet.
Where will we be in the next hundred? The next ten hundred? That it does not exist now is a poor way to debate a subject after you have so thoroughly attempted to do so.
Your answer is clear. You don't have a counter arguement. You don't even know if you're alive. You argue with semantics and completely fail to grasp the underlying meaning being not only my words, but yours as well.
Thank you for your conversation. I have nothing more to add.

EDIT: Here I am, at the top of the page. Why does this always happen to me?
Not exactly what I meant. Rather than speculating that will never have equivalents in the future, I am talking about the current situation. We have no artificial intelligences. There is very little to base the debate becasue it is something that is currently intangible, and never created yet. Of course, ideas are intangible, but that is what they are ideas - rather than physical matter as the geth are.RiptideX1090 wrote...

I guess it's because your internet code is superior.

One of us Jackolytes, Mondo47, wrote a quickfic about how Hannah Shepard, Spacer Shepard's mom, would react to finding out about her son being with Jack.
How would Hannah Shepard react to finding out that her son is with Tali?
Mom-Shepard
It's rare when I get to pimp my own work. Not the greatest I've done, but I liked it.
Can I get the link to the Jack fic?
