Oh, but do take the paragon interrupt for Kal'Reegar. I mean the one that's after you find her.
No. This is the interruption.
And it's very adorable.

Hey
I've been sick
I heard (you can thank Rune for that). I'm glad you're better.
And before we get all mushy...
Actually, where's that one picture that looks like a five-year-old's drawing of Tali, Shepard, and Legion holding hands?

So.... when did Tali make it onto the top of THIS PAGE?
Woobie.

Tali is the pure definition of Badass Woobie.
She's cuter than all hell and you want nothing more then to hug the holy crap out of her, but she is far from helpless.
Tali can kiiiiiiiiiiiill you.
And you will love every last second of it.

It's a great picture, but isn't putting a hoodie on Tali redundant?
Here's a question, Tali thread...
I'm working on a fic concept that would enable Tali to remain out of her suit. See below if you want to know the details.
Once out of her suit, I wonder what Tali would do for clothing. I'm sure she'd start off by simply wearing the suit, sans helmet, but in the long run, what do you think she'd wear, and who would she turn to for fashion advice? Would she continue to hide her face, out of a need for privacy, or would she proudly display it to everyone?
I have a very cute mental image of her stealing one of Shepard's old blue Alliance jumpsuits from the original Normandy (ME1 casual wear) and wearing that around.
For those interested, my idea involves Mordin engineering an immune system from the ground up using the human adaptive immune system (T-cells and the like) as a blueprint. The procedure involves modifying existing Quarian bone marrow to produce the required cells, eventually replacing all of the subject's marrowt. Needless to say, it's very painful, (think existing bone marrow transplants x100) but the reward is an immune system that can combat both dextro and levo protein based threats.

The StarCraft 2 beta phase 2 is up. Sorta. Some people are having issues with getting into matchmaking.

I'd rather not put Tali through pain, but that's the only way I can see a suit removal happening. As far as I know, bone marrow produces blood cells, so any kind of permanent immune system change would require a complete bone marrow replacement. Existing bone marrow transplant procedures are *very* painful from what I've heard.
I think I'll have Mordin simply put her under a medically induced coma throughout the length of the procedure through recovery. I don't plan on having Tali experience anything other than residual pain when she wakes up. I do, however, envision her removing her mask long before Mordin finishes all the tests he thinks necessary:
Mordin: ...initial battery of existing Quarian diseases... require two weeks for analysis. Then proceed to Turian pathogens to examine adaptation to fellow dextro-protein illnesses - another week. *deep breath* Human and Asari diseases final test. Adaptation to levo-protein viruses largest variable in...
*Tali pulls offer her mask, taking a deep breath of the ship's unfiltered air.*
Mordin: ... or we can just progress straight to field trials. *sigh*
I can understand your reasoning as to why Quarians would wear revealing clothes, but I don't think a culture would shift that rapidly to the other extreme. Traditional Muslims living in secular countries, even when not wearing headscarves or burkas, tend to dress in a conservative fashion. I think she would dress practically at first (some kind of jumpsuit or engineering garb), but probably seek out her fellow crew mates for advice on fashion. I doubt Quarian culture has kept up on clothing trends. Even if it did, there would be no reason to produce any non-envirosuit clothing. Tali would have to modify clothing designed for another race, or have something tailor made.
She's probably have to keep the boots from her suit, though - I just can't see her getting Quarian-specific footwear anywhere.
