You Shepard can talk all he wants, fate will still find him.NuclearBuddha wrote...

This all comes back down to whether or not we can see Shepard ever settling down.
Would you call it an "unfair advantage"?NuclearBuddha wrote...
My perspective on this matter is warped by having lived through one, so I've probably got a somewhat different view.
Good point, just thought Jack was the least "fitting" of all. Besides the possible issues with interspecies marriages.solazz wrote...
For some reason, I just don't see any of the potential love interests getting married.
True that, but there's still the intent.Azint wrote...

/b/rother? is that you?chool77 wrote...
There is an option of telling Grunt that Shepard doesn't want to fight all his life? Interesting. I never found that. It may be an indication that the player may be able to "choose" what Shepard does after saving the world from the "great evil," ala Dragon Age.NuclearBuddha wrote...

Gotta clear the way for the next generation of heroes, you know.cannedcream wrote...
Mine did to. With the way I play him and the back story I've given him, Shepard is a bit of the 'reluctant hero'. He saves lives and defends the weak because his honor and duty compelled him to, not always because he wanted to.NuclearBuddha wrote...

My Shep would probably be looking forward to the years he can put the life of constant danger behind him for something a little simpler. At least, until, he realizes how boring it is. I can see Tali and himself occasionally going out for a bit of adventure every now and again to re-live some of the past glory.

They could do a dragon-age-esque "and this is what happens down the road" ending in which they show the results your actions had on the universe.
Not that I support that...

Hopefully we are given some choice as to what Shepard does after the galaxy is saved from the Reapers. If not, I may prefer something vague. I do not envision my Shepard dying from some battle while serving the Alliance.Azint wrote...

Or they could just dump us to a splash screen like in ME1.cannedcream wrote...
For ME, I would prefer a more ambiguous ending were some things are hinted at and the rest is left to imagination.

I definitely prefer vague. I want my story to be able to end the way I want it. Plus I know I would hate any set ending they gave me <_<

Have you ever see the show, The Big Bang Theory?
People say my personality is like Sheldon's, in that I'm hard to deal with because of existing personal proclivities.
I agree with that. I still want a scene at the end of the game with Shepard and his/her LI though. Just as a nice touch to the ending.cannedcream wrote...

That did kind of irritate me about ME1. Then again, it wasn't the end of the story, so...cannedcream wrote...
Brilliant! They're leaving the ending up to the player's imagination SO MUCH that you don't get any kind of ending AT ALL!NuclearBuddha wrote...
