Druid or ranger.  Animal companions are tougher than familiars.  Was gonna say halfling due to the nomadic culture.

Okay, seriously. I really, really, really hate Bioware for this bit of pseudo-science. Everything with different amino acids would not put someone into anaphlaytic shock.
To quote Morbo from Futurama: PROTIENS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY.

Now as a protein heavy food, yea, Tali shouldn't drink milk. It would at the least upset her stomach and likely make her sick. But its not like she's allergic to peanuts and just downed a peanut butter shake.
