Normally I wouldn't of bothered but from your writing you seemed like a details sort of guy. The largest land predators we have are foxes, which are not so intimidating..................NuclearBuddha wrote...

Also, I reworked the wolves thing a little. Boy, that was a silly mistake, given all the other details I took the time to look up.

Shepard looks in awe at the Mako, which is now buried in a large pile of snow, wide smile on his lips.
"Tali, how's it looking?" he asks as she emerged from inside the Mako's crew compartment.
"Keelah, it's almost in perfect condition, I can't believe that it got only minor scratches and few overloaded systems when the... Collector's attacked..." Tali started eagerly, her voice full of excitement but her tone begun to lower, getting a more of a sadness in it as the painful memory surged into her mind. The destruction of the first Normandy, and the death of her captain.
And all those miserable things she faced in those two years; the denial from the Council to everything Shepard had told them, the betrayal of a fellow quarian, the father who didn't love his daughter enough to even look at her, the infected wrist still aching and sore, healing slowly. She thinks bitterly as the pain makes her to wince as she gently touched it. Brooding over her dark memories, she feels a hand landing on her shoulder, squeezing lightly, making her mood instanly better.
Raising her head, she is greeted by a pair of a blue eyes, looking deeply into hers, even when obstructed by the small visor of the breather helmet, causing small tingle in her stomach.
"Tali, what happened in past is past" Shepard said softly, his voice full of warmth and love. "So, do you think we could make some use of that" he continues and gestures towards the Mako. Reluclantly she turns to look at the human vehicle.
"Yes, we just need to dig it out from there and do minor repairs" Tali replies, enjoying the touch of Shepard's hand.
"Good" he smirked and turned towards Garrus.
Garrus feeling uncomfromtable as Shepard turned his attention to him, he asks carefully. "...commander?"
"Garrus, take the shuttle back to Normandy and tell Jacob, Grunt, Zaeed and Thane to come with you. Oh, and bring shovels" Shepard stated, devious look in his eyes.
"Shovels?" Garrus sighed, trying to roll his eyes.
"Yeah!" Shepard replied. "Unless you want to dig that out from there with your bare hands, err, talons" he laughed.
"Why me" Garrus moaned, knowing fully why he was the unwanted party but still couldn't resist on teasing Tali.
"Because you can handle the shuttle better than her" the Commander responded and immediately received a slap on the back of his helmet, followed by the familiar "bosh'tet" from Tali. Shaking his head in amusement, Garrus waved his hand and took off with the shuttle.
"And don't you come back without any shovels" Shepard yelled over the intercom, before switching it off.
Turning his attention back to Tali, facing her back towards him, Shepard stepped closer and wrapped his arms around her waist, leaning his head next to hers.
"And because you are the best damn engineer I have" he whispered and hugged her tightly. As to show her approval to his compliment, he felt Tali's hand landing on top of his, preventing him from leaving the warm, loving embrace.
After a long moment, Tali breaks the silence.
"Shepard" she starts quietly.
"Yeah" he answered, relaxed from her vicinity.
"There are no shovels on the Normandy"
"I know..."
"They could find shovels from Omega, and it's at least a five to six hours to fly there and back" she continued, starting to wonder what he had on his mind.
"I know..." Shepard repeated, now certainly sounding amused.
"So... what's your plan? I mean, the cold air is starting to get through my suit..."
"Oh, do you remember that one time, when we were on a mission on Noveria, with Mako and Wrex" he whispered, starting to caress her abdomen.
Tali spins around in his embrace, coming to face him, her eyes narrowed behind her purple visor.
"Oh, you bosh'tet" she mocked, slapping his chest with a giggle. Shepard pulled her tightly into him, grabbing her behind in his hands, making Tali yelp with the sudden grope.
"I would like that, John" she said quietly. He leaned in to gently tap her visor with his helmet.
You should blog that for posterity.Thelacan wrote...

Another song about Shep/Tali
We
Close your eyes baby and lend me your finger
Together we walk out as one
No lonely nights, broken promises or fights will
return anymore
I remember a time I believe was fine
But inside my heart broke down in two
Something inside starts to burn like a fire
And I knew it was you
