Also keep an eye on Angel of Death by Azint and Riptide. Depending on how they take it, it could be the example you are looking for (or it might jsut reinforce your stance; unsure atm.)
AoD makes me want to hurt people. I want my Shepard to knock the **** out of that jerk Shepard.

I have already read as much as is currently available for Red's fic and I have not yet had the chance to read Angel of Death. I just would like to read a Renegade fic where it didn't make Shepard to be a b*****d to everyone. Even his own damn crew. There are reasons to decisions. While I might have gone the Paragon route for possibly all the MAIN decisions in the first game. My reasons weren't for the nobility of it, it was for the practicality. I blew both the Collector Base as well as the Geth station. And the Geth station unless you count me letting others have the revenge they deserve. Were the only Renegade big decisions I made. I couldn't trust the rewrite program because of the conflict it could cause within the Geth Collective. I couldn't trust anyone with the Collector Base because I could have begun indoctrinating others and we needed to veer as far away from Reaper tech paths as we possibly can. I saved the Rachni Queen because that holds the potential for an army I couldn't ignore I have a eons old threat barring down on me I could not afford to through away a potential ally. I saved the Council not for any other reason than I thought the Destiny's Accension would be needed to destroy Sovereign. It supposedly the biggest baddest goddam ship in the galaxy that we have. I needed that gun. I have no idea why I'm rambling on. I guess Sorban's work affected me enough to feel I had to justify the way I think things need to be done. Which in the end I guess show's how good it was it made me question what I have chosen and think about it's validity. I came through it conflicted but still believing what I did was right and was needed according to the situation. I just wish I wasn't so damn confused now. My hat's off to Sorban and his ability to challenge a persons preconceptions that they were justified. Well done Sorban, well done.

And I wouldn't change anything, simply because that would change what the character is.

Yea, but I mean the question is kind of moot. If you're wanting to 'change' things about her than its really no longer about Tali as a character, but rather a manipulated 'ideal'.

Okay then, Captain Literature. YOU think of a topic starter.

As for topics... I think tis rather a moot point. This is the most dead I've seen the thread at night since I started poking around. Just kind of lurking and trying to work on next chapter.

We gained the cypher and the missing parts of vision from the beacon on Virmire and even Liara helped us but no matter what we did, it was still only chaotic images.
I can't even imagine how anyone could consider that as a message.

I think the message was supposed to be extremely degraded over the 50k years. Initially, it probably greatly detailed the reapers and their tactics, as well as possible plans to try and save themselves. Fast forward 50k years, and all we get is a barely understandable warning.

True, True though the images do show what looks like collectors attacking Proteans.
Also a link to another thread with an intresting fallout 3 pic.

From what we know from ME2 I think the vision more is connected with truning the Protheans into Colectors than with some message.
Those images should still be imbedded in Shep's mind, brain.. Whatever.
Or Lazarus did something. I unno, who cares?
Time for Tali dance.

That isn't even half of what Mass Effect goodies you can get as mods in Fallout 3.
However ported they may be...

Boardfather is in, and he is annoyed due to the 95 degree weather on New York. But DA2 has partially taken my mind off of it. Tell me, what are the exploits of the thread today?

Been a slow day. 95 here too, but thats normal.
I was intrigued by the fact that DA2 is gonna be Mass Effect style for the character.

Mental Transference between different races is not important, Shepard got the cypher from Shiala and even with it, the vission was almsot the same except the ending with Nazara.Tairis Deamhan wrote...
What do you expect? Mental transference from one race to a completely different race with so long between activations. Amazing there was anything at all.
When Shepard then got the whole vision from the beacon on Virime... Still the same as when we got the cypher.
And when Liara was trying to find some clues in the vision before we flew to Ilos... Still the same.
In the vision was turning Protheans into Collectors, some nice pictures from Ilos and Nazara in the end, everything in comlete chaos.
And if I remember, there was some vision with the Collectors in one of hte anomaly-missions in ME2 too.
