I would like to point out that completely changing her character is in no way, at least to me, 'fun'. You want to make your own Tali then by all means do it. Don't expect other people to endorse what you are doing when you are essentially writing about your own creation.

Just a very short little story... something I had hoped to be in ME2... but was sadly missing... was Shepard's feelings about his implants, scars, and death.

Tali and Shepard, of course.

I think it was very good. Not so sure about the use of the word "cyborg" though. I don't think it'd be something Tali or Shepard would say. Sounds a little too...Treky, if you know what I mean.

Felt given it's lack of use in the series however, it might actually carry more weight, given how it was used. Almost like Shepard is purposefully dehumanizing himself...

Okay I would just like to point out that it's not making my own Tali. All we know of the romance scene is The Pounce. Everything else is up to interpretation. I would just like to point out that someones personality that everyone sees outside the bedroom is not necessarily going to translate directly into the same style of personality in the bedroom. She has shown her aggressiveness already from what we've seen. Also as I've said Tali is more of a pleasure torturer. Not a member of the Art of Pain.

I like the fic as a whole. Cyborg sounds fine to me, just because its a 'foreign' term. Which fits Shepards mindset. Think you definitely pulled it off better than I did.

Everyone stopped and looked behind Tali.  The commander was standing just behind the quarian, looking over at her fondly.  Gabby grabbed Ken, and pulled him out of engineering.  She could see what was about to unfold, and wanted her overly gossipy partner out of earshot.

Tali simply kept staring.  It started to make Shepard nervous.

"Tali?"

She shook her head rapidly.  Tali walked up, grabbed his arm and dragged him to the elevator, punching the button for floor one viciously.  Shepard looked over at her, concerned.

"Tali?" He tried again.

She held up a finger to his lips to shush him.  She then stared impatiently at the elevator status as it ticked past floor 3 and on to floor 2.  She bounced on her toes, once, twice, and finally three times.

Shepard just leaned against the wall.  "At least tell me what's up with the bouncing," he said in an attempt to lighten the tenseness in the elevator.

"It's instinctive; when we're nervous, or angry, or excited, it's an easy way to expel some nervous energy," she replied distractedly.  "It's a holdover from when our people were predators on our planet thousands of years ago."  Shepard blinked in surprise, not expecting her to answer.

She then brought up her omni tool and typed in some commands as the elevator started to stop at the CIC.  "Come on you bosh'tet!" she grumbled.  There was a 'ding', and the elevator suddenly shot upwards; the inertial dampeners not completely able to compensate.

As the door opened, Tali grabbed Shepard again and pulled him toward the loft.   Shepard was not certain what to make of this behavior; it was certainly not what he expected from Tali.

"Decontamination Complete."

Hmm, I bet she can be rough in bed, but the whip and gimp suit are staying in the closet this time.

Garrus actually fights with you at some point though. He stands up to you, and tells you what he wants and what he needs. It takes a lot, but you can talk him down.

To me cyborg suggests a heavier level of augmentation than what Shepard has and usually cyborgs have a more extreme physical appearance. The fic was good though, the similarities are definitely there. Maybe in ME3 Shepard will go rogue and have his own (much bigger) Geth Army?

If you look at it though, Shepard has a truly massive level of cybernetic augmentation. His bones are weaved with nanotubes where they haven't been completely replaced alloy, his muscles reinforced with synthetic fibers, even his nervous system is tapped into cybernetics.

Today I might get ME2 for PC yayz playing as Tali and using that mod my friend made I was going to get it 2 days ago but could not due to it being late then I had a friend over so now I can get it
