That IS what Mordin did. The thing is, the Krogan are tearing themselves apart trying to fix it, something Mordin did not account for.

Mordin modified the genophage that the birth rate was higher than one in thousand, but still not their normal rate?
IF the cure results in a war, and 1/1000 to extinction, isn't there a middle road in somewhere?

Because no matter what its still ethically wrong to do that to any race and now after years of the living with weighing on him  Mordin would not modify  the genophage.  What really is killing the  Krogan are  the Krogan  that is something the Wrex is trying   beat out them. Yet even he is on no win, the Krogan are this way because the Genophage sapped all their hope of any future but if you just cure it without them  changing everything would go to hell.

I have been wondering, why the only option with the genophage is to either cure it fully, or keep it.  Mordin did already alter it once, so why not do it again? If the krogan do possess a threat to the galaxy with their normal birth rate, why not change it into a 1/250, instead of 1/1000? Or fully cure it.

well if Wrex is Leader he might not take the cure for his people after all it's not genophage thats killing the Krogan it's their way of thinking.

Indeed, but it's not their fault (Not all), Salarians started this. <_<

true but if the krogan were left on their homeworld the reapers would have taken over the galaxy.

Not neccesarily. Krogans were just the fastest and easiest way and that is not always the right way, like Shepard told Garrus.

with a reaper controling the bugs I most say the chances most have been slim.

"The chances of surviving are slim."
The man who said this wasn't looking for the fastest way to defeat Colectors and still made it out alive (In my case)
There is always more possibilities, you just need to find them, which is sometimes quite hard, depends on situation.

indeed, but even if they won, they would been so weak that Sovereing easlig could have taken over the Cidetal.

That's possible but still only an option. We can't find out what would happen.
And Krogans were maybe the fastest way but I think the later complications weren't worht it.

with Wrex at the helm I'm sure the krogan will find their place in the galaxy.

with Wrexes brother at the helm the krogan will go extint.

I don't agree with the genophage but I can't see any other solution after Krogans were used against the Rachni. After they were given a technology they were not prepared for. Salarians started this so we'll see if they will solve it.

The Krogans are now, under Wrex's command, in stable phase and they can beat out their agresion like they would do without the Salarians discovered them.

Geth, quarian, omnitool scanning. Do I need to go on? :P

As Tali giggles to herself as she doesn't hear the sound of the VI anymore from the AI core. She turns to leave, thinking how she had shown Legion where it's place is, she bumps into someone. Looking carefully up, the pair of blue eyes stare at her silvery ones with a disapproval.

"Oh, Shepard! I, uh.. um, did you want something?" she asks nervously, not noticin how her hands rest against his chest, one of her digits softly drawing a pattern over the shirt he wears.
"Tali, what were you doing" Shepard mouthed, making her to stop and take a step backwards.
"Nothing" she tried to lie but received only a stern glare from her lover.
"You go there and apologize it. Now" he commands.
"No I won't" she snaps, stomping her foot to the floor, clenching her fists into a ball.
"Yes. You will"
"Hmph, make me" she snorts. Shepard flashes a grin on his face, before taking a solid grip from her shoulders, starting to push her towars the door.
"Shepard, no! Please!" Tali starts to plea as he continues to steer her, the doors opened at their proximity and he shoves her into the AI core. The doors close and the hologram interface turning to red, Tali starts to bang at the door, yelling khelish profanities to him.
"Miss Zorah, Commander informed me to let you out as soon as you have had your... "discussion" with the geth terminal" EDI chirped in.
Bitterly she stopped the pounding and shouting, her mind creating new ways how to make Shepard pay for this as she turned to confront the geth.

Better? :wizard:

Sit on Shepard's lap for an hour.
Clean more engines.
Tell Kenneth that you can hear him. Again.
Eat dinner.
Try to lure Joker into arm wrestling.
Try to find out what's so important about those calibrations.
Talk about Shepard with Kasumi.
Grab a night snack.
Go to the sleeping pod, only to reject it and sneak into the cabin again.
Snatch Shepard's pillow and say you had a rough day.
Lie spoon with Shepard for the rest of the night.

You know what I'd like to see in ME3? Tali eating breakfast/lunch/dinner/whatever. I would just watch her all day as she just sits there with a tube in the side of her mask, hearing some slurping and then she comments sometimes on how it tastes.

Oh, and I should be able to buy her paste with different flavors. Man, I'd spend millions of credits if that was an option.

You know what I'd like to see in ME3?
This http://www.fanfictio...1/Ai_no_Melody
in combination with this
(Never try to read it or listen to it separately) ^_^

Man I might have to start paying you dude  you are putting in work.  ... maybe i should refine it  and make  version for each  LI   and pitch it to Bioware..  Then i would have to do  different crew member deaths...  This is starting to turn into the one-shot that keeps on giving.

Man, I'm not doing this for money but because your story really deserves it. ^_^
And about posting that to BW... It could turn out to a boring job.
I'm sure this, one FF was fun to write, but write so many versions...It's your decision but you should stay with this one. ;)

I thank you and i am humbled that my piece has moved you so much  and comment about paying you  is my odd ball way of saying thanks  :)

And  as far pitching it was just an idea but I don't think it would make it through focus testing.   The illusive man as good guy in the end LOL the Bioware/Mass Effect fan community would collapse. No no I think i will keep this the  in fandom.  I would like to find a great artist to draw some of the scenes though...especially the Samara/Thane,   Jack/Zaeed, Tali/ Shepherd and The Illusive Man.

Repostan!

Normandy SR-2 , Illium Drydock

*The ship is under repairs after the Collector attack, and is currently empty aside from a certain engineer looking for a certain geth. Having searched all the lower decks, Tali ends up at Shepard's cabin last.*

Tali: Legion?
*The geth platform sits at the head of the small staircase in the cabin curled in the fetal position, much like it had as Tali's trial.*
Legion: Creator Tali'Zorah.
Tali: *confused* What are you doing here?
Legion: This is now the residence of the two individuals most important to my people, Shepard Commander and Creator Tali'Zorah. We realized that in spite of the importance of the location, we have never seen it.
Tali: *attitude pose* Is that right?
Legion: It contains fewer violet hues than were projected.
Tali: We're working on that.
Legion: Query: Why have you sought me in the first place?
Tali: *relaxes, then wrings hands* Well... after the Collectors and all, I guess I realized you weren't so bad after all. You were there for me- for all of us- just like Garrus, and Jacob, and Kasumi... and even Shepard.
Legion: *stands, then relaxes his headflaps for a moment* We merely performed the task required to specification.
Tali: And you're humble too. You might grow on me yet.
*Without warning, she springs forward and hugs the geth. Legion suffers a temporary loop, trying to comprehend the unforeseen, and freezes in shock. Just as quickly as the embrace starts, it ends.*
Tali: I just wanted to say... thank you.
Legion: *headlights turn red, headflaps expand and contract repeatedly* You're welcome, Creator Tali'Zorah.

*Tali turns to leave, walking halfway out the door before turning back around.*

Tali: Come on Legion. Let's go join the rest of the crew.
Legion: Acknowledged.

*The machine and the creator walk out of the cabin, then hail an elevator. As they leave, a familiar blue beachball appears on it's platform, tracking the two.*

EDI: It's good to see them working together.

Hah my Shepard would have totally done that. Except my Shepard would have probably used the more "this makes me sad" puppy dog eyes approach.
