I plan on being a sniper.
Along with 5 other Marines.
They have 6 man sniper teams.
I'm not in the picture.
I'm behind you, pointing a pistol at your skull.
That's called thinking outside the box.

I'd love the military forever if they gave me one of these...
I'd paint "Widow" on the side.
That gun is mostly used by the Navy Seals.
You know... I could be a Recruiter.

Just pretend you're a tiny Geth.
I want one!
The rest of this comic made me sad though.
Could you link me to the rest? I've never seen it.

I do miss some of the snarkiness, but I agree with you for the most part.Runescapeguy9 wrote...
She's definitely lost some of the 'snarkiness' that she had in ME1. I prefer her this way as she seems more mature. A lot of stuff has happened to her to shape her personality.Collider wrote...
Thoughts on Tali in ME2:
For one thing, she lost the idealistic and more youthful view of adventure that she had in ME1. Having already completed the pilgrimage and seen the galaxy, there's very little of that idealism left. I noticed that Tali became more cynical and even a little pessimistic. If she ever had, she no longer truly trusts the Admiralty Board, nor their judgments. It seems that being commanded by them on missions that met so much carnage and death soured her relationship with them - not to mention the ultimate betrayal of being used as a chess piece for their political agendas.
As people have mentioned, she's less sarcastic and snarky, I think. I can't say for certain as I haven't played ME1 in a while, but I think they're right. She's a bit more bitter and possibly has less patience for humor. Meanwhile, interestingly, Garrus has become a more of a jokester. Garrus has become more outgoing, whereas Tali has become little more reclusive.

I... was all ready to rebutt something here, but you're definitely right about Garrus. He was almost painfully earnest in ME1, especially when you got to arguing with him about the proper application of law and order.Collider wrote...

I'm not sure Tali was ever that much of an idealist (I'm open to evidence, of course, this is off the top of my head). She came from a pretty grungy place ("just a month ago I was on rusty old tug") and while she then got into the adventure of her life, it took her dark places, like nearly getting murdered in an alleyway. I was suggest there was a little naivety rather than idealism (again, the alley meet with Fist's goons).
As for her belief in the Migrant Fleet's political system... I don't know that she ever expresses an opinion on it in ME1. I got the impression that her father was overbearing in ME1, but nothing about the system he was part of.

Well, to my knowledge Navy Seals are chosen, they can't apply.
And they only get in if they survive a training session called Hell Week, which has a 98% drop out rate by the third day.
And then, they won't let you in if you're not a male or have perfect vision...
It's not because they're sexist, its just that guys are bigger than girls...
Those under 5' 10" need not apply.

I can only imagine that after the Admiralty board found out Tali was harboring Geth, she would be forced to drown it then exiled.

By definition, it's sexist.
Don't need to be a man to be an efficient killer.
One of the most effective snipers in history was a Ukranian Woman. Killed about 400 ****s.
Anyway... we shouldn't disuss this here...

Tali stuck around and worked to please her father, placing more importance on family and duty than happiness.
Miranda said "F- it" and bailed.
Their fathers aren't great analogues, either. Miranda's dad sounds like an egomaniac, trying to make a child that is essentially him but sexy (creeeeeeeepy). Tali's dad wasn't doing anything for himself.

That helps.
@Nuke: Ah, that's right. You weren't here yesterday and didn't hear the story of how I'm a ****ing idiot. Somehow, and I'm not 100% SURE how, I managed to corrupt my Juno dial-up software on my laptop. Today after 2 Best Buys, 4 Geek Squad members, and 1 tech support call, no one can figure out just what the hell is work or why the comp will not recognize and call any of the provided numbers. The rest of the computer works fine, just JUST the Juno as far as anyone can tell.
So now I'm stuck with this laptop I got from a friend after she was going to pitch it. This thing does not hold a battery charge, is prone to overheating, and is as loud as a mother-Smurfer, but at least I still haz Internets. Kinda.
