what about radiation?

Hydrogen bombs are a bit different than the "nuke" of which we are more astablished with, it creates far less radiation.

Mars has a weak electro-magnetic field, unlike Earth. The radiation would disperse into the vaccum, I would imagine.

and what radiation they couldnt block would cause our fingers to fuse in a way we only had three(thumb included)
