I want to see her dance in 3.

You could dance with Ash or Liara in 1.

I want a scene, with dialogue, where you and your LI go to a club and dance.

Little things like that to give the relationship a more lighthearted feel, you know?

Everything's always "blow up this", and "sex can kill me that", I want some god damn normalcy for a bit!

Not much... just something... :crying:

Tali could have never danced in her life, yet she'd look like a pro next to Shepard.

I would L-O-V-E to see more dialog between Shep and Tali and just along the lines you said; something lighthearted, and personalized if possible. While the scenes on the chair and bed are sweet, I'd like to see something made especially for Tail.<3

For all the LIs.

Just... little things... to keep the relationship warm... you know? Light hearted... meaningful...

Tender moments where something important happens in the main story, like someone dying, and your LI patting you on the shoulder, offering words of encouragement... to which you can respond... little things like dancing in a club... or slamming down a few beers with one of your squadmates, like Garrus. Since they can free up some of the VAs time from not having missions based on them, focusing it on these sorts of things is actually very plausible. I want some activities that really bring out a sense of family, and team, and love... something to kinda give you something to fight for...

I also want pain, suffering, misery, angst, blah blah blah.... you guys know me...

But... damn... I want some happy stuff too... a touch of the hand... a reasuring smile... a warm hug... like joking with Garrus after you two meet up on the Normandy, things that give a very personal connection... I want warm feelings and sunshine and stuff too... :crying:

See Rip all of that would require the average gamer to have to play through extra hours of game play that does not included blowing something up, shooting something  or killing something. That would we require the average game to sit through a pay attention a  plot and look a cut scenes. We all now how the average  gamer can't do that because that requires the average gamer to think and engage in the story like we do in this form... Sadly the average gamer  can not do that and its the Average gamer that drives the bottom line.

please excuse the sardonic nature of this post it is not  directed at you... I would love to see more of the  human element put into Mass Effect 3 but  all everyone else wants is the

SHEPHERNATOR.... with a  bizillion guns and lasers shotting out his eye  balls and his nose hairs **** smacking reapers into oblivion....

It's easily the longest chapter and my connection issues will keep me from posting it until I get my new cable in.

Not complaining, just asking (and indirectly offering encouragement).  Keep at it.

Of course.

Didn't mean to be snappy.

Just slighty... annoyed is all.

Damn rats eating my ethernet cable...

We appreciate the support Buddha. Means a lot coming from you.

I assume once CotEM and Reckoning are complete, we'll be giving Noir Garrus more thought?

Bioware always strikes a balance. They cater to their core base a LOT more than other companies.

You know, the sign of a good artist/writer/game designer/whatever is to make the audience enjoy what they've got, even if it wasn't precisely what they expected/wanted.  BW sometimes hits that mark, so we can just hope they will with ME3.

Oh, of course.  She's got it in her head that she's going to write a children's book.  The text is actuallly good, but it remains to be seen what she can cook up for illustrations.

I'm sure they'll do right.

They haven't really let me down to date.

They're the only gaming company I have unshakeable faith in.

And not just that. I want there to be problems too, you know... relationship problems. Dealing with Terra Firma jackoffs who hate on you dating Garrus... and Eden Prime Survivors who hate on Tali... insecurity... past relationships that will definately factor in if you had them... Thane's death and what to do with his son... Jack's need for revenge... Garrus's father, who I'm sure will finally make an appearance, and his possible disaproval... The Admiralty Board's reaction and Shala's... Liara's possible redemption... you have all of these things you can just springboard off of... things you and your LI can overcome together...

I just want there to be a very present "human" element involved. Breath some real life into it.

Well BioWare seems to have confirmed about there being something that will happen if you had a ME 1 and a ME2 LI (and I would be upset if something didn't happen) and as for the rest of what you wrote, I would love to have that make it into the game, too. It wouldn't be any fundamentally different than the special missions in ME1 depending on your background, right?

Well, even if don't get anything like that (again: I would be highly disappointed if that was the case) but eve if we don't, than we still have all kinds of awesome writers here always coming up with great stories about those kinds of subjects. It might not be canon, but I don't think it makes the work any less meaningful and emotional.

XIV: The Thing in the Steeple

Despite the unseasonable chill and clammy mist besetting the town, possibly owing to the proximity to certain ocean currents, Miss Zorah insisted on accompanying Inspector Vakarian and I on our midnight excursion. It was my intent to prevail upon her to rest and avoid having a cough settle into her delicate lungs, however the constable laughed and suggested that if she could keep up, she could join our “fool’s errand.” Thus mollified by his continued good humor in the face of adversity, and hoping that Miss Zorah’s veil would protect her from the worst of the inclement conditions, I reluctantly assented to her presence. I reassured myself that perhaps she would be safer in my company than alone in her room at that decaying inn.

Our first order of business was to examine to local constabulary, which was merely a room in the now-vanished constable’s cottage. The door was unlatched, and it quickly became apparent that the local agent of His Majesty’s law had been, at heart, a rustic like those he protected: more concerned with poachers and the like than strict maintenance of civil codes. He had kept a journal of sorts, full of indecipherable notes and curious digressions which worsened as the moment of his disappearance approached. While the inspector looked to the old man’s antique yet serviceable Enfield rifle, I attempted to glean any clues available from the spidery text.

The village constable, having rejected the possibility of wolves or even wild dogs long before the more superstitious and credulously unimaginative townsfolk, reserved judgment as to the perpetrator of the murders, though his wilder jottings hinted at half-forgotten local myths of things that flew and hunted when Fomalhaut peered red-lit over the southern horizon. More rationally he seemed convinced that the murders depended somehow on atmospheric properties, as the disappearances would occur coinciding with the chill fogs that would shroud the village, leaving only the steeple of the rundown church visible. On his more lucid days, it seemed, he suspected human agency behind the murders and livestock thefts, first suggesting feuding families then succumbing to the same more generally-held suspicions of the unwelcome immigrants. He could ascribe no motive to these suspects, however, and this appeared to preclude him taking any action other than finally sending for assistance. His last entries provided no help whatsoever, as he claimed to have been dogged by half-imagined flappings and rattlings at his windows and scribbled affrightedly as to what each night’s weather portended.

First paragraph: **** yeah, Miss Zorah! Still stoked about her kicking that one guy's ass, if ever so slightly.

Second paragraph: Hmm...

Third paragraph: OH SHI-

Nuke's Lovecraft inspired Mass Effect story. He posts about 3 pages every few days.
Real good stuff. I HIGHLY suggest you read what's been written so far over in his blog.

Something only is as meaningful as the viewer interprets it to be. Not everyone likes the Noir Buddha and I did. For me? I imagine that's exactly what happened leading up to Freedom's Progress. If the writer's say otherwise, I'll take their logic, of course, but otherwise, it adds flavor that I like, so I go with it.

Same with Buddha's Quarian Geographic, and my Monster and Healing stories. I know it's different for everyone, but that's what so cool about Shepard. It's YOUR story. It goes how you want.

Within Reason.
