I don't know if I'm a moron or something, but I realized not too long ago that Tali is actually the most alien of all the romance options.
She comes from a world completely different from Shepard's, both physically and culturally.
She is, without doubt, possessing alien anatomy ala curved shins and wide hips and three fingers and dem feet.
And that doesn't even take everything else that could be under the suit into account.

Looking at her leg structure I get the impression that quariuns descended from something more like a deer or other herd based herbivore, rather than a monkey.

Besides, I don't think BioWare designed the quarians' legs out of a biological or practical perspective.
It's more likely that BW made them so they'd look cool and alien.
So...until BW says otherwise, I'm going to think of them as predators. Very sexy and lithe predators...

It might have been a minific but I think I remember it being a codex entry about how ravenous Quarians get when they manage to find a dextro planet and get the meat paste. It also causes slight sickness almost like a hangover for humans. and if I remember right it mentions that Quarians find the experience totally worth it.

Well, considering the fact that the nutrient paste that makes up their diet is based on plant matter and the liveships grow plants for food, wouldn't that put them solidly in the place of omnivore?

Definately.
But I like the idea of them being predators none the less, who just so happened to evolve to be able to eat plants and animals.
