EDI: No, that's the strange part. Life sign readings show that they are fine, and scans indicate the Hammerhead is not damaged, but the Hammerhead VI is requesting that we terminate manual controls and retrieve the craft...

The Hammerhead will never be as good as the Mako in this department.  The Mako had the shocks that could withstand falling off a mountain, and it didn't explode after 2 hits. 

The Hammerhead is just a cheap imitator, and the sooner Tali and Shep get to fixing the Mako, the sooner...  Nah that won't work either, they would never get any work done

The only good thing about the Hammerhead, is that it hovers. They can dish out as much as they want without having to worry about the suspension breaking down.

Hell, I picked Tali to ride with me and the rest of the team over and over again in the elevator to hear all the conversations and used it as an excuse to look at her ass non-stop.
