Acturly thinking about it logicaly, Tali suit likely going to smell mostly like enginering. She's a bit of workaholic and I also suspect she going to have a hard time knowing what she smells like since she comes from a culture of people who's noses hardly smell anything but the inside of there suits...


Fortentently she does seem socialy sentive enough to realise that it might be a idea to try and change her suit "scent" for importent social events (perhaps asking Gabby for help) , but most of the time she going to smell of enginering.

On the flip side she also come from a culture where the ablity to get along with people is prety dam important (since your stuck with them with no easy way out!), which explains her great talking skills.

Shepard walks slowly towards her, big smile on his lips, full of adore. Tali tries to sunk under the bubble foam, embarrassed by his interruption of her childish play, her cheeks burning. He kneels next to the bath tube, looking at her eyes lovingly.

"That was cute," he whispers and reaches out for Tali with his hand.
"Keelah," Tali muttered, her mouth partially under the water, making it to spatter. She lifts her head back up as his hand starts to caress her cheek.
"I didn't know you had any of that childish spirit left, Tali," he chuckles softly. "I like it."
"You.. you do?" she asks warily, smiling now.
"Yes," he replies quietly and leans to give her a small kiss on her forehead. Tali starts to get up to get more but suddenly remembers where she is as the cool air touches her skin. Flustered, she drops back in to the tube, splashing water over the edge and to Shepard's clothes.
"I.. I don't want to get out yet," she whispers sheepishly. He just smiles at her. "The air is so cold, and.. um, you're standing there, watching."
"Oh, so that's a problem now? I though you liked when I watch you," Shepard teases her.
"Hmh, bosh'tet," she snorts at him. "It's not what I meant."
"I know," he replies with a smile. "So, what if... I'd join you in there?"

"I would love that," Tali answers with a broad smile on her face.

They can smell though their suit-filters but I don't know how sensitive it is...

I always translated it to bastard myself. I wonder though, I don't remember Tali using it in a casual way ever in the game. So why does everyone use it like the way alot of us use a word like that? I mean in some cultures using a certain word like that would never be thought of maybe the Quarians are the same?

Tali does use it playfully too; Tali mentions about linking the suits to FemShep, rene-response asking is she blushing. Tali states that it's the last time she tries to compliment her bosh'tet captain.

Well, it's good that she can express her thoughts with some other words than just "bosh'tet"

Of course. Like everything, it loses the effectiveness when repeated too much.
