It's not canon until Bioware says it is.

And if we're substituting what WE like, I sure as hell wouldn't go with purple.

I like wearing gray, black, and red. My skin is nearly translucent white. Just because you wear a color, doesn't mean that's the same color as your skin. Besides, purple is too Asari for me.

That's why the quotation marks, as if canon within the thread. At least majority seemed to think it will be towards purple. Which though I agree, would be actually silly. Should have put it "soft skin" instead of any color.

Aren't asari mostly blue, by the way?

Asari have a wide range of skin tones. Blue. Cobalt. Teal. Some are even purple, like Hermia and Shiala.

Remember that asari that takes you with her in a shuttle to the tower where Thane is located? Her partner, or whatever has purple skin.

In regards to skin color: I reject purple. Most emphatically. Coming from a slightly more arid environment, one would presume that the quarians would have been exposed to more light. Possibly less light if their eyes actually glow. If they are nocturnal, One would think their skin would be in varying shades of gray, not purple.



If they descend from a daylight predator, my vote would be towards tawny colors: light browns, light yellows, possibly even light oranges.
