And as I mentioned in a previous post, I dont think artificial gravity could compare to living on a real planet, and thus the Quarian people have slowly suffered the effects of space.

You are some kind of stupid, boy.

Yeah I think I'm done with this conversation... It isn't going anywhere...

To everyone debating about the bone and muscle atrophy of the Quarians... A ships Mass Effect core creates a-gravity on every ship so atrophy from zero - g keep low. Man the in -game Codex for Mass Effect is great

you know, that's what really pisses me off about people who point out dark energy as a major plot point. NO F*CKING SH*T IT IS! Dark energy is a synonym (in the game) for mass effect SCIENCE DAMN IT!!!!!

Gravity is always pushing us down, grounding us. In space there is none of that. Our muscles spend a lot more energy standing up and doing routine things we do in everyday life compared to doing the same thing in space.

Please stop talking about things you seem to know next to nothing about.

Ok then, explain it to me.

We've tried.

A short addition this time to Shepard's dealings with the Inqusitor.

***

Shepard liked Thane's style - as soon as Shepard and his group encountered Nassana Dantius on the top floor of her building, Thane dropped through the ceiling, took out Nassana's guards, and killed her point-blank with a shot to the stomach.  To be fair, Nassana's guards openly tried to kill his team, so now he didn't mind her getting what she deserved.

"I will work for you, Shepard," Thane said after Shepard explained the situation.  He shook Shepard's hand.  "No charge."

"That sunset frames you very nicely," the Grand Galactic Inquisitor pointed out.

"Be quiet!" Tali told him.

"Do not reply to me!"

"A friend?" Thane asked Shepard, tipping his head at the Inquisitor.

"An annoyance," Shepard said.  "We're trying to find out where he's supposed to go."

"I could use my contacts to investigate for you," Thane said.

Garrus nodded in approval.  "I like you already."

"Do not investigate on my behalf!" the Inquisitor said.  "I am only here to -"  He then doubled over with a whoof, because Tali had kneed him in the gut.  "I'm okay."

It's a gif of the mako shaking from a sharp turn and stop.
But I'll be damned if it didn't look....accurate.

Any particular section of the Gravity page you want me to look at?  It describes what gravity is, but not its effects on humans in space.

Anyways, going back to Thelacan's original post, I still think Quarians have weaker bones/muscles because they live in space all the time.

And you're wrong, because they have gravity on their ships.

Both through centripetal force and mass effect fields.

Jumping into the middle of a discussion here, but I've gathered it's about the extended period of time spent in a strictly spacefaring existence for the quarians? In a universe of Mass Effect fields, the issue is probably moot.

But in terms of actual reality, all the various exercise components simply delay the general loss of bone mass over time. And we're talking bone loss here, so resistance against muscles isn't going to do much. The only way to know the loss isn't specifically due to living in a space environment is to then monitor someone's body in an artificial gravity situation, something that hasn't been implemented to any significant degree yet.

Actually, I don't think Tali is in this picture.

Unless that's her with the shotgun partially offscreen.

kudos for you using centripetal rathar than centrifugal which is not actually a real force.

The only difference is that the gravity on a planet is natural. Artificial gravity has the same effect, only it's controled.

The word "artificial" is what makes me doubtful. Since everyone on the Citadel isnt like the human cast on Wall-E Im guessing its effective, but 300 years...That has to count for something.
