While I'm disgusted with Rorshach's beliefs and some of his actions, I really do love the character.

The universe got along just fine without TIM, and once the Reapers are gone, he and Shepard will both no longer be needed. Pointless to build a house when you've already built a city.

These aren't nukes we're talking about. They're people. Children. They are not weapons. They have great capacity for destruction, but so does carpet bombing. Use that in the mean time.

And I saved them. It was a WILLING sacrifice made by the men and women who picked up the rifle and looked to the sky, hoping for something better, not made by autistic children and on the backs and lives of child slavery. Their children will grow up in a unified galaxy that doesn't fear them, but respects them. The Council was not worth saving. What they represent, unity, tolerance, acceptance are. It's not perfect and they have a long way to go, but once this war is over, once I've united the galaxy, it will be worth it. When a quarian and a human can walk down the halls of the Citadel as equals, and not with one owning or subjugating the other, it will have all been worth it to me. Those men and women's lives, and my life if necessary are worth that. When our people are accepted and respected, not hated and feared, I will sleep easy, knowing I made the right choice. It will happen. Eventually. Even if I have to tear down the current council to do it, Anderson and I WILL unify this galaxy. One way or another.

First off, sir, well played.  Well played.  I believe we have reached the inevitable impasse in this conversation, as we usually do.

Shall we agree to disagree, once again?

Didnt I suggest something like this awhile ago?:pinched: I was like "Then Shepard would have flashbacks of happier times with Tali, but in the realworld, he had alienated all his friends and sank deeper and deeper into alcohol. Then it would end with Shepard being an old man, thanking everyone sticking with his for as long as they did while he looks at a Quarian suspended in some sort of status pod. As Tali re-opens her eyes, Shepard looks at her smiling, and passes away in her arms.":P

If so than I missed it as I don't remember reading that.

Ahem...

The assembled crew stood in silence, watching their Commander for his next move. He seemed to hesitate, his anger wavering. Miranda jumped into the lull. "I'm.. so sorry Shepard. I, and the Illusive Man, would do everything we could to bring... her back." She put a hand on his shoulder. "But it just isn't possible. The Lazarus project was built to bring you back. Just you. You must remember, that took four billion credits and two years, with decades of research prior to that. And it was all lost when we remote detonated the station. There is nothing Cerberus can do."

Hypothetical answer to a hypothetical question.
Don't try to confuse me with your 'facts' and 'logic'.

Interesting question.
I think she'd be grateful for the control chip being removed, but as for being brought back from the dead?

. . . I really don't know. Though it would make for a great fic. . . that is, if I wasn't specifically asked not to write anything about it. ^_^

I can picture Tali being grateful, of course confused at first. I imagine Shepard telling her what happened, and what he had done to her. Very emotional I would presume, to confess you saw your lover die, and had to make a choice to give the Collector base to Cerberus, enable to get Tali back. She'll ask him why, and Shepard will pretty much poor out his emotions to her. Knowing Tali, she would forgive him, but let him know how she feels about his choice.

I can see them making up, and Shepard calling in the Citadel forces to go to the Collector base, dispose of Cerberus, and capture the Reaper tech.

And you could wright it Cream, this idea's really the communities, it doesn't belong to one person. Plus I think everyone would rather have you, or someone like Nuke, etc, write it.

Hey Watchmen! I love that movie too! Rorschach was a pretty cool character but Im not sure what you mean by disgusted. What beliefs and actions do you mean? Out of curiosity.  Curious to see this character from a different light.

Was it because he dropped that masochist down an elevator shaft?

I didn't see the movie. I read the graphic novels. He was an extremist in religion and by his code, to the point that he was willing to forgive a rapist and a murderer because he generally killed communists.

I loved his character. DID NOT agree with his beiefs or some of his actions.

The Lazerus base is lost, true. It was built for a human. However, the base is lost, but the technilogical know how is not. Quarians, besides their DNA, are like humans as far as being humanoid, and probably have around the same organs. Bladder, Heart, Lung(s), etc.

We all have to keep in mind, it's an FF, throw in some made up scientific b.s. and Mordin, and it ALL makes sense.

But. . . but Rune will kill me. :crying:
Can't sleep, clown Rune will eat me.

Anyway, I think you're right. I can see Shepard losing the girl he loved hurting him in ways I can't even imagine. Of course, Paragon and Renegade Shep would have different resonces. If possible, I'm sure Shepard would bring her back. Maybe by carrying her body and burying it in the old pet cemetary. . . that can't possibly backfire. . .

Oh right, The Comedian.  I found Rorschach to be rather refreshing actually. Not because of his belief system, but because he clearly defined what was right and what was wrong. The bad guys are the bad guys, and the good guys are the good guys. Concepts that are heavily lost in today's inky, milky grey.

True, but losing all the other scientists, (besides Miranda) makes it hard.  Lazerus also strained Cerberus' finances.  A second run would be cheaper, but still ungodly expensive.

And if these "Cells" are as isolated as they seem, all the data could have been on the station.  And thus destroyed.  But then again, I'm quite certain Mordin could do something to make it work.  He's a Wizard Salarian Scientist, after all!
