I have to comment that I don't feel sympathetic towards Cerberus in any way. Probably mostly due to my Quarian "For The Fleet" fanatism.uhdnrt wrote...
And we are supposed to be sympathetic to this group?
And Cerberus sure knows how to hamper human diplomatic relations with other races.

Eh...why are we defending/hating Cerberus again? Is there something that I missed? They are a bunch of incompetent idiots with a big wallet and they've done things they must answer for. "Anything at any price" is not an excuse for what Cerberus did.
That's all we need to know.
Because the Idealist and the Realist are going at it and the more i think about it I fall on the realist side of the debate, I fall on the Cerberus side of the debate But i have boiled my side down to one thing how far will I go and came to the conclusion as far as needed, as far as necessary my soul be damned.

I don't have any problem with them from a theoretical standpoint, its just that their leadership is very questionable and frankly they are too incompetant to do anything properly. Most of the time they will **** it up. Clearly they need to remember the seven P's.nitefyre410 wrote...

Alright.
The squad is stranded on a unpopulated planet for a month. It's a green planet with lots of plants and all that.
You can give it a shot if you want.
Maybe not the best, but I can barely think in this heat.
Heh, I have a hard time too to tolerate this heat. Came home last friday, 01 Am in the morning, and my house had like 29 celcius degrees. IN the middle of the night. That was ****.
But let's see what I can think of...
Two figures huddled around a small fire, made in one of the clearings the dense forest sported here and there.
"We've been here almost for a month now," the other figure spoke, it's voice femine and slightly synthetical tone could be heard. "I can't believe the Normandy could be crippled so badly from a single, and keelah! A lucky shot like that!" it exclaimed, voice starting to rise above appropriate levels. "And why does he bring me down here to patrol some stupid jungle, when I could be up there, fixing the ship," it continued and gestured towards the bright and clear sky, spotting hundreads of thousands of different stars like they were looking back at the two companions.
"Hey, calm down," the other figure started to reassure its companion, its voice full of playfulness and vivid with femine undertones. "Shep knows what you can do, but it's not about that. The Normandy needs replacement parts, nothing we can just make up from the thin air. And you know this too," it continued and placed its hand on the other's shoulder.
"But I like to work with the engines," the first one protested tiredly.
"We all know that," the second one smirked. "And that's why you need a break from the ship." it continued and turned to throw another log into the fire they had put up.
"I know," the other admitted and hung its head low.
"Besides," the happier one whispered. "Think what could happen between you two when I'm not around," it suggested.
"Keelah! I.. I.. Just how did yo-, no. I don't understand what you are trying to say. I'm just an engineer, and he is a captain. Nothing more!" the taller one was startled and now babbled its words at its companion who giggled in response.
"Okay, what are you ladies scheming over here!" Shepard barked and caught the two women in surprise, both jumping up and screaming at him as he had sneaked behind them.
"Oh, you, you bosh'tet!" Tali snorted and glared at him angrily, as he was still laughing.
"Not funny, Shep!" Kasumi remarked at him, trying to keep her tone in level with her irritation. But soon, her demeanor softened and she started to giggle slowly, looking at Tali.
As Tali noticed this, she felt the heat on her cheecks and started to wring her hands together. "What's so funny?" She asked warily.
"Your... your visor is fogging up," Kasumi managed to breath out.
"Yes, I know that. And I hate it and I hate this stupid planet for being so humid," she snapped back. "So what makes it so funny?" She asked again, now frustrated by a bit.
Shepard and Kasumi shared a glance before bursting into another laughter.
"We... We humans have our own, historical and maybe cultural thing with... glass surfaces getting all foggy," Shepard replied through his laughter. "Maybe Kasumi will explain it to you when we get back to Normandy," he suggested as he managed to get control over his body.
"Or maybe I won't!" Kasumi quipped and vanished into a thin air with her cloak. As Shepard started to rub his neck at the awkward moment, Tali stepped closer to him, hands crossed before her.
"So... That explanation... I would like to have it now," she said sternly, knowing how her mask hid her wide grin.
Oh, it got long.

What her visor fogging up? Yes. Which also makes me think of some sort of odd 'drive in' scenario lol
But that wouldn't work so well when your partner is stuck in a suit.

Are they any less incompetant than the Council or the Alliance?
The Council refuse to see the Reaper Freight Train Barreling at them, The Alliance pretty much buried everything and ground the team just to play nice.

Oooh, tell me about it. This winter we had like one meter of snow in capital. It was friggin' awesome.
Never believed I would miss those snowmounds so much...
Okay, someone else can write about Tali being shoved into a snowmound by Shepard. I'm too tired.

That would be one helluva car. Course I also have the odd vision of a bunch of spaceships sitting infront of an equally large screen.

It was so cool inside my house during winter, that even if I have had my computer open all day, it still wasn't even warm. Now I'm sweating due to this climate.Thelacan wrote...

Jones I think already did that, though I dont have it saved. Skating + snow mounds + exasperated Garrus.

*Tali, Shepard, and Garrus stand with their weapons ready, scanning the frozen lake of the tundra for sighns of life. Tali's voice picks up as she scans her omni-tool.*
Tali: There's nothing here, Shepard. The Sensor Relay on the Normandy must have picked up a ghost reading.
Garrus: Great. Can we go now? Turians hate the cold, remember?
*Shepard folds up his Revenant, staring out at the frozen lake before running out into it and sliding on it's smooth surface. Garrus tilts his head to the side as Tali raises a brow beneath her visor.*
Garrus: What is he doing?
Tali: I'm not sure...
*Tali approaches the edge of the lake, Shepard sliding to meet her and taking her hand in his.*
Shepard: C'mon, the ice is smooth.
Tali: What are you- Oh!
*Shepard pulls Tali with him onto the ice, their boots not exactly ideal, but the ice proving to be smooth enough for them.*
Shepard: Relax your legs. Don't get stiff. Use your momentum.
*Tali slides along the ice with Shepard, a smile crossing her face.*
Tali: Do humans do this often?
Shepard: Some, yes. But we have special shoes with blades attatched to the soles for it. Makes things like this easier.
Tali: Things like wha- Ah!
*Shepard takes Tali into his arms as he sprints across the ice, letting his running momentum carry them across the ice, before tumbling into a bank of snow, laughing as they fall.*
Garrus: Great. Gonna be stuck here....

I hear ya. There's almost no point in taking a shower, because five minutes after that, I'm just as sweaty again.
A suit with a climate regulation system would be the gift of gods about now. Hmm.
Oh, Tali...
Someone wants to have a chat with you.
