That's nothing compared to the breathers your teammates wears in vacuum or toxic atmospheres. It always annoys me when I see them.

Forehead nostrils along with regular nostrils don't seem to make a lot of sense.  Also, armadillo back wouldn't seem to be a good evolutionary match with jellyfish "hair."

and I think I started the LI thing.

is it possible to not pick anyone as an LI when they confront you to pick one of them?

I would get some screenshots if I had played the game past the first visit on Omega. I don't know what it is, but I can't find any motivation at all to play it.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact I didn't create that imported Shepard from the start. (Because the stupid game won't work)

Nuke Kaiden.  Tell Liara you're not interested.  If you've already missed the chance to do that, you may need to revert to a previous save.

Well, it's hard to imagine for example Mordin with that GIANT helm, that had those salarians in ME1
