Im still a believer in the power of deus ex machina especially in Bioware games not against adoption just personally like the idea now on to other things.

Not sure why I was thingking of this earlier but if their was a tech off between Tali and a 40k Techpriest who do you guys think would win? in most instances I would say Tali beause the priest would be spending half his time chanting to the machine god, but they are still capable of some bad ass ****.

I see no reason to assume that they won't make seperate dialogue for a romanced character, it would be stupid not to really.  I assume the 'didn't romance' branch would eventually lead to a romance option for the new players as well.

That's the thing, there has to be several checks. If you romanced them, then you get the romance dialogue. If you start a new game in ME3, you won't be able to start a romance from scratch because those LI have already done their thing in ME2. Any reminiscing will confuse a new gamer, that's why the dialogue will be little to none. As in...they'll be like Kasumi with no wheel.

In contrast, DA:O had SO MUCH to do, yet you had more conversations than in both ME games combined. That's the only thing that gives me hope, but DA:O wasn't a continued story, it was fresh.

You/Shepard and Tali are heading for an evac site with several cerberus operatives following you there is no cover and you are severly out gunned. There is only enough time for one of you to escape what do you do

1. Let Tali go(Paragon)

2. Leave Tali(Renegade)

3. Stand and fight / Go out big and take a whole load of the mother @#$%@#s with you (Friggen awsome)

There's not nearly as many checks as you're making there out to be.  The way I see it, there will be a basic dialogue that happens whether you've never played ME1/2, or whether you did and didn't romance them.  Bioware will have to finagle these lines so that they make sense for both occasions, but its not impossible.  The other option would be for a previously romanced character, where the conversations are different, and continue the romance.  Maybe the basic dialogue branch could even merge with the romance one and they could have the same ending.

Either way, this is hardly mountains and mountains of dialogue to wade through.  Its 2 or 3 extra conversations for the LIs.

Hey, quick question: I've been toying with the idea of jumping back in ME1 for some more achievement prostitution, but this time I around I want to make sure Shepard has no LI so he will remain pure for Tali.

How do I go about making sure that neither the Liara or Ash romance kicks in as a default or something? I know we talked about this before, but for the life of me I can't remember what was said about it.
