I don't like getting violent in conversation, but I'm trying hard to think of a better reason to get physically demonstrative.

Maybe..physically defending yourself from an attack?

I don't believe this one. The context and choice of words seemed to mean that Miranda was saying that Jack herself the person was a mistake. If she didn't mean Jack as a person, then she could have said "but those experiments were a mistake," instead of "but you were clearly a mistake." The latter is basically saying that you should have never been born, which is a pretty grievous insult.

Oh, is this where I'm supposed to be surprised I've been maneuvered into defending Miranda?  No, she's got every right to defend herself if Jack comes at her.  It's one of the reasons I personally don't get physically demostrative until I'm sure I'm done with the conversation.

No, it seems there is a window from every other room on the ship that can see into the engine room. I'm sure EDI hooked Joker up with a live feed as well.

She's in a tough situation.  Miranda's invested too much of herself in Cerberus to back down on it, it seems.

When you do ask Miranda about what happened to Jack in a one on one conversation, she clearly states that Jack was an unfortunate case.

I really don't give a damn about Miranda. Her and Jacob are the ONLY characters on either of my teams that I actually hate. Far as I'm concerned, if Jack wants to make them her personal punching bag, or if Grunt wants to use them for target practice, have at it.

She does, I know that. Miranda obviously though, clearly does not like Jack. And what Miranda says is phrased like she is saying that Jack should have never been born.
