Wouldn't it be nice if you could invite Tali to the cabin in ME3 and then have a conversation there?

Hope they do that for at least one conversation in the game. Have most of them be in the characters usual spots, but let them have that more 'significant' conversation that usually shows up towards the end of the character plot trees in private. Think it would add weight.

Yeah, something more in-depth like ME1.  I loved talking to the team and finding out their backstories and information.  In ME2, it's noticably a lot weaker.

I find it varies between the characters, really. Thane actually has some very deep, extensive conversations. But with Samara not nearly as much, same for Miranda.

Definitely. That way they can spend more time together and express their feelings in a better way compared to the talk down in Engineering.

I'd say the best conversations in ME2 are with Thane, Garrus, and Jack.  Weakest would probably be Grunt.

And Garrus. I think he has the least amount of dialogues compared to the rest of the crew. And that's not so fair, considering that he has been with Shepard since ME1. Just like Tali.

Telling someone to 'move on' and 'forgive and forget' isn't a solution, its a cop out.

.

Forgiveness a cop out  oh man.. I hear that and can't but laugh because that just funny

Forgiveness is not about the other person its about you.

Forgiveness is the only for one to find peace...

So what are going too do Kill'em all? whats happens  when there all dead. When there is no one left to kill. when there is no one left to hate? What happens?    Don't answers  that just think about.

Yea, pretty much totally missed what I was saying but whatever. Continue with your Jack is a coward for not just 'getting over' decades of abuse and moving on.

Edit: Don't forget to include Tali, Garrus, and Miranda in that group btw, since they all clearly needed help getting over their issues too instead of just forgiving and forgetting.

Heresy!  J/K.  Actually, Grunt has some of the best comments on the different hub planets and in the missions.  But his actual dialogu?  It is noticibly less cool than how he was introduced.

@NyteFyre:  Forgive and forget is a cop out. If someone doesn't know how to forgive, and has never been given that sort of absolution, then "forgive and forget" are meaningless.  In that sort of situation, you have to have the patience to show them what forgiveness means.

Words are not enough.  It takes patience, and actions, to reinforce the concepts of forgiveness and acceptance.  Huh.  Look at that.  That is the exact sort of thing that happens with Jack in ME2.

The defense rests.

I also wish my guys had more to say as I explored the worlds.  But I can forgive that in place of compelling conversations in the ship.

Pretty much the only ones that did the "forgive and forget" thing are Grunt and Legion.

Dunno who started the Characters meme. However, here's mine. It needs to be revised a bit, but oh well.
EDIT: Revision complete. After much soul searching, my opinions are now thus!

You should remove Morinth and put Kasumi there instead.Image IPB
Without the "horrified" stick figure, of course.

Seems to be the general feeling on this thread. I personally don't mind Miranda. I just like Jack a lot more. Definitely my second favorite LI.

I didn't create it. And If I had a pic of Kasumi the right size, I probably would adjust it.

Wow. I step away for two days and 400 pages spring up in my absence.

That is both impressive and a little intimidating.
