Can I get this meme?  I'd like to make my version.

I have a version uploaded her at the bioware forums under my name. Just save it and adjust as necessary, I guess. Or, try your hands at drawing some of it. It's what I did.

Funniest version was Rune's.

Wow. I step away for two days and 400 pages spring up in my absence.

That is both impressive and a little intimidating.

I think everyone just wanted to be able to scream, "OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I don't mind Miranda either, though some people seem to have some rabid hate around here. Tali is my preference of course, but none of them inspire hate in me.

*points at his blog*

As I;ve explained, I actually like all of the characters, I just think Jacob and Miranda are terrible LI, for Shepard.

I am the same. Tali is the best, but I don't hate any of the other characters.

I'd say the best conversations in ME2 are with Thane, Garrus, and Jack.  Weakest would probably be Grunt.

Heresy!  J/K.  Actually, Grunt has some of the best comments on the different hub planets and in the missions.  But his actual dialogu?  It is noticibly less cool than how he was introduced.

@NyteFyre:  Forgive and forget is a cop out. If someone doesn't know how to forgive, and has never been given that sort of absolution, then "forgive and forget" are meaningless.  In that sort of situation, you have to have the patience to show them what forgiveness means.

Words are not enough.  It takes patience, and actions, to reinforce the concepts of forgiveness and acceptance.  Huh.  Look at that.  That is the exact sort of thing that happens with Jack in ME2.

The defense rests.

To be fair I dont think Nyte was talking about just telling Jack to just forgive the butchers and get over it but rather what you are saying uhdnrt. And your right especially on her loyalty mission if you take the paragon route and she spares karesh thats a huge, and I mean HUGE! step for her on the road to reconciling everything she has gone through, forgiving herself for mistakes she has made and perhaps those who have hurt her. But its a process and a long and dificult one to be sure.

I don't think making a little pistol will sidetrack them. And it would be free like every other weapon. No need to wet your pants, there.Image IPB

I completely agree with Story DLCs and some new dialogues also wouldn't be bad. <_<

Character interactions would be great, but I don't think Bioware can do that with with *Existing* characters, I think it's a thing with the Unreal Engine. They can Add things but apparently can't modify existing items, probably because of the size of each file they'd need to edit. Don't know if someone could clarify that...

So... Basically they could add the presidium area to the existing "Human Embassy" piece, but can't modify Andersons Dialog?

Also, I was wondering; can they make a DLC that can actually be done after the main story *only* and not before? I have noticed that each piece of DLC is available right from the very start.

They can still have triggers, I think.  Can't do Zaeed or Kasumi's loyalty missions without recruiting them first, for instance.  Same with Firewalker:  you have to get the vehicle before the other missions are available.

The two aren't mutually exclusive:  the pistol could come as part of a more mission-based DLC.

I think they'll make it so with the gap filling DLCs. Would be a little odd if you could do the DLCs that takes place after the events following the activation of the O4R before you've gone through it.

Would dearly love to hear Tali talking about one of her pre-Freedom's Progress missions when Shep talks to her in engineering.

It is time for something strange and mystical.

***

Why?  Why won't he stop following him?  What did he WANT?!

Conrad Verner bolted through the dark alleyways of Illium, spare dangling lights illuminating the trash-filled corridors.  Stupid fake armor was slowing him down!  But if he tried to take it off, that man would catch up!  Always the same man staring at him, following him everywhere!  Why?!  WHY?!

His legs pumped, fists swung, mouth gasped for breath.  His heart felt like it would detonate.  He didn't look behind him - that man would be there, no doubt, with that grim look etched on his face.  Then he would...God, he didn't dare to think about it!

Conrad fired around a corner and was met with a looming wall, overlapped with broken electronics.  Oh, no, not NOW!  He was so close to escaping...and now...

The sound of bare feet stepping against metal, one after the other, echoed in Conrad's ears.  His jaw quietly slipped from his control, and his teeth started to chatter out of pure, greasy fear.  He couldn't move his head, couldn't try to scale the wall.  He was frozen.  He was trapped.  It was all over.

A hand clamped over Conrad's shoulder and turned him around to face his stalker, his white martial arts outfit and furrowed iron brow burned into his soul forever.  The man released his grip on Conrad, but Conrad didn't run, just backed away a few steps as his mind came to grips with what was about to happen.

And though he had never met this stalker, in Conrad's terror, he found he already knew the man's name.

"S-Segata...Sanshiro!" he gasped.

The man held up a white box.  Dangling from the box by a cord was a controller with six brightly colored buttons.  "Sega Saturn, SHIRO!"

Conrad screamed.

***

While writing up a report at his desk, Shepard felt a nudge on his shoulder - he looked up to see Tali holding a small data disk.  "Shepard, I have something I think you need to see."

Shepard just gestured at the spot above his desk - the holo-emitter screen currently played a music video of his favorite batarian band, Smooth Experience.  Tali reached over Shepard's arm and slid the disk into a tiny slot.  The video paused and faded into black to be resumed later, replaced with a cut from the latest galactic news given by a waifish asari newscaster.

"-a citizen of the Citadel visitng Illium for unknown reasons," the newscaster said.  "Verner was discovered by locals, with eyewitness accounts comparing him to a 'pretzel' in the way his body was twisted.  Verner is another entry in a line of victims who found themselves beaten severely by a man who, they claim, wanted them to play a vid game called a 'Sega Saturn'.  Verner is in critical condition, and Illium investigators are looking into the situation."

"My God," Shepard said, leaning back.  "Who the hell would do that?"

Tali shook her head.  "Conrad is a moron, but even he didn't deserve that.  By the way...what's a Sega Saturn?"

It was a dark time for her... if she doesn't want to talk about it, I respect that.  Heh.
