Rip, do you find enjoyment in announcing your fantasies to strangers on the internet? Just curious.

Honestly?

Sure. Why not? I'm a very open person. If someone asks a question, I usually answer honestly, no matter how personal. Simple fact of the matter is that I simply don't care for things such as censorship or for making things taboo. Most of it is done in a teasing manner, some of it is not. I'm just very expressive and very blunt. I can write a d'awwwful minific, turn around and draw a sad picture, go into scientific analysis about how quarian social structure works and how they develop relationships using sound scientific hypothesis, and then the next moment list the many kinky and/or illegal things I'd do that that adorable quarian's ass.

I am all of me, and I'm content with that. I own who I am, every part of it, and am unashamed of being myself, even if others don't like it. It's also a two way street. I keep an open door, and anyone is free to speak thier mind around me. There's never a need to filter your words, ideals, or beliefs when having a conversation with me.

This game sounds quite fun. How does it compare to Silent Hill, if you have played that?

It is much more action-oriented than Silent Hill is and does not feature awesome psychological themes, but it does well with what it was supposed to. I do recommend giving Condemned a look.

We recommend Fatal Frame, the first one.

You can't hurt me with words. B)

That is how I cope with internet personalities.

I know.

Which is why I don't mind you being blunt with me. I know you don't mean it most of the time.

I am tempted to try the sequel, have you?

And the mannequins:

Don't have a console to play it.  Played the first on PC.  Angry that the 2nd didn't come out for PC.

The second one was a severe dissapointment for me.  The gameplay action was was advanced, and they did this quite well.  But the scares felt the same (to the point of actual reusing the creepy manniquens...) and the ending was horrible.  They really tossed it off the edge, plot wise...

Indeed. That is evidence of what I said, yes. Revealing the evidence would mean both Tali and Rael are vilified.

On the other hand, she's perfectly willing to be vilified in his stead if you withhold the evidence and get her exiled.  Withholding the evidence isn't a selfish move on her part in that respect.

Tali very much displays her selfless nature here. I do not know whether Tali had worried about her own image in her decision to withhold the evidence, so it's speculation right now. I do think it could have factored in though, obviously not to the same significance of Rael's image though.

Yeah, you were playing as a human right??? I only got that scared playing a PC game 2 other times, Doom 3 with full surround sound cranked, and Deadspace with all filters off so that your character talks to himself...

Shush. I've already got enough dirt on him to put him away for a year.

Don't be that way Mr. President.

What did he do that bothers you though?

Thinks we're unserious.  Oh well.  Like a guy who used to troll the thread with a Miranda avatar can judge.  LOL.

Now that's funny  having Goat as a name should be enough evidence, though. And trolling this thread had real purpose, Nuke.

And Collider, you don't gotta go doing that, you're using me for your own selfish goals.

Hmmm.  Regardless of whether or not she worried about her own image, she made the decision to accept exile by telling Shep to withhold the evidence.  That suggests that it's a least a much lower-order concern.

Sometimes I need to throw my own kind under the bus to get what I want. You must understand.

In seriousness though, I did iterate that I was not speaking for you. Wasn't trying to be selfish. Having the thread bettered with more intelligent discussion is quite a noble goal.

No doubt.
I feel like analyzing more parts of Tali's character now. It's quite fun. I'm not sure which part of her personality or beliefs I should go with.

Only one film has ever given me nightmares, Alien. AvP2 was me experiencing my childhood nightmares.

Interesting force of therapy.

I associate you more with Xen, now...

Which is a very bad thing. Seeing as I'd love nothing more than to bang her twelve ways to Sunday.

Also, this makes me look forward to fighting Xen in 3. :o
