The only unique ability the Engineer has is the Combat Drone.

AI Hacking? Infiltrator has it.

Cryo Blast? Sentinel has it.

Incinerate? Infiltrator has it.

Overload? Sentinel has it.

I've always prefered Infiltrator over Engineer.

Technically their unique ability is the combat drone.
Two squadmates also have access to it, but Shepard's has a cooldown of 3 seconds while everyone else practically takes 15 seconds to refresh cooldown after using it.
Still, it is a little less flashy because of its relatively commonplace nature. Even NPCs use drones. XD

It would have been cool if they had a healing ability to apply to the squad - a shield recharge or something.  That would have made it worht being an engineer, IMO.

  Agreed.  Again though, it shows a failure of design, since it is not unique.  Then again, neither is tech armor apparently. <_<

They do use charge... they just get that 'I can't get a lock!' bug all the time.

It would've been even cooler if I could see how much health my squadmates actually have, instead of having a bunch of lights flashing when they take damage.

Dampening would ahve been a perfect fit for a unique Engineer ability.  Sadly, we are denied.

Neither is Geth Shield Boost.

What's next? The enemies starts to hack Legion?

I know they can only have three powers, but I was including loyalty powers, so Legion would have AI Hacking, Tactical Cloak, Disruptor Ammo, and his loyalty power is Geth Shield Boost. Tali would have Overload, Combat Drone, AI Hacking, and her loyalty power is Energy Drain.



At least, in my dream world that would be their powers.

And she shot at Legion. But it's okay. Nobody was hurt in the making of this recruitment mission. Well, other than a sh*tload of Heretic Geth. At least, I'm assuming they're Heretics, considering the fact that Legion will shoot at them.

EDIT: And goddamn Haestrom sucks on Insanity. There's a billion of those flying geth drone things. Jesus.

And a stupid Geth Prime was swearing at me for like five minutes while I was taking all of the drones out.
