SPOILERS.

When the person asking for results is pointing a gun at your head, he takes responsibility. You heard Archer, the Illusive Man does not tolerate failure. He does not broker loss. TIM was always in control of the situation, he could have stopped it at any time, and he knew where it was headed. Information is what he does. You don't think he knew EXACTLY what Archer was going to pull? You don't think he sets it up so he is actually in the know with ALL of his projects? He knew what was happening. He knew the risks. And he didn't stop it. It's his fault David suffered the way he did. It's his fault everybody died. Archer is equally at fault, but at no point does it EVER become solely his. They must both own responsibility, and I pray to god I get a chance to rain justice down on TIM's head in the future. I only regret I couldn't kill Archer.

Ahem.

TIM is like the Shadow Broker. You HONESTLY think he doesn't know EVERYTHING that goes on in his OWN PROJECTS!?

Come one... please don't tell me you're that slow...

It was because of TIM that Archer did what he did. Both are at fault. I took David way butkept Archer alive so he could continue his work, but do it right, not fast this time.

NuclearBuddha, do you not take issue with Zaeed putting the innocent workers in danger for the revenge he had purposefully hidden his desire for from Shepard?

I do.  And I (and my fist) let him know my displeasure.  He apologizes like a man and admits he was wrong.  I saved the workers.

That seems fair.

I don't blame him any more than I blame Garrus for his plotting for revenge.  People do some crazy stuff when they get hurt bad enough.  Luckily those two have Shep around to make sure things don't get out of hand.

If that's the way he runs projects, then he's just retarded.

Why shut down something when you have just a fraction of information, when you can wait just a little longer and see if it unfolds some more?

He needed to die and if that means some workers have to die so Vido does not get away and does that crap again, then it has to happen (what can I say, I am like Mordin with my moral)

Zaeed put the workers in danger in the first place...you can always just hunt down Vido again, but you cannot replace the innocent lives lost at the facility. They are gone forever.

Vido gets away and does the same thing again and again. He needs to die. That's why I arested Balak, that's why I kill crimminals if I have the choice.  Vido killed many innocents, you want him to continue?

nope. but do you want the workers to die? no
Balak put the hostages in danger - killing Balak isn't the same. Meanwhile, Zaeed put the workers in danger, not Vido.

If some must die to put down a beast like Vido then I will do it. (man I swear I have mordins moral)

I liked Okeer, a true zealot of survival instincts. I do not agree with him at all, but I found him to be a very fascinating character.

I would have compared him to Grunt.

He is the krogan analog to Daro'Xen.

You guys ruined Xen for me. Do not compare her to the glory that is Okeer.

Grunt was his glorified project and legacy. Okeer created a soldier, a soldier who yearned for his own cause and not one he was made for.

yep. Still would have wanted Okeer instead.

And Xen is a different case; she believes in resorting to the actions of old to restore the glory of her race, Okeer shares this mindset.

Except that Okeer's methods are not "actions of old" at all, his methods are completely new. So...that doesn't make sense.

They both have completely different agendas, however.

Xen is considerably more foolish.

TIM isn't hiding under every bed in the galaxy.  He had no way of knowing what that guy was going to do.

This is a man who you rely on for intel. The guy who has an information network that rivals the Shadow Broker. This is the man, who is basically just a less badass version of Xanatos. He plans. He watches. He knows. He had the Normandy rigged with Cameras. You think he didn't have the same for Overlord, Zero, and his other projects? This man knows damn near everything that goes on in the galaxy, he can even get into the TURIAN MILITARY and feed them false intel.

Now, can you honestly tell me you don't think he was keeping tabs on his own experiments?

There is no proof that TIM knows anything about the cells.
Cerberus seems to operate with compartmenalized oversight.
Miranda, TIM's #2, seems to believe that the Cells are generally independent.

Until I get proof, I won't jump to conclusions.  In ME1, Cerberus was a dastardly organization who experimented ruthlessly.  In ME2, they're a morally ambiguous group.  Their nature is changing quickly.

Garrus could have killed an inocent by accident.

I meant in the sense that Okeer believes in absolute krogan dominance, I should have said "ideals of old."

Xen is considerably more foolish.

Without a doubt, I find them both incredibly foolhardy.

And if he's as bad as the first, you kill him too.

You'll eventually run out of bad people.

Or you'll kill the entire world. Either way, the world's a better place.

Didn't EDI say that TIM likes to keep it to about five cells or so and that way he can monitor them all without straining his capability to...eh, multitask?

No. The ONLY thing that has changed is your perception of them. They aren't any different. They're just working harder to make themselves seem less aweful. Believe what you want, I'm not falling for it.
