A sweep of her arm scattered the blocks all over the floor, sniper, pistol and submachine gun ammunition all mixing together haphazardly. Instantly she regretted it. “Thanks, Jack,” Shepard had said, even if she hadn’t done anything for him yet. What a p--sy.

She could still hear his boots banging on the deck of the corridor overhead. Toward the engineering compartment, then back to the elevator. It’d been like that since they’d f--ked up those geth on whatever planet that was. At least he still came down…

No such convoluted explanation is required, though.  All Sheps are biotic.  Some just actually get real training for it, while others don't.

I play on Hardcore just to make the Widow more practical. Any less and it becomes blatant overkill.

If you go in with an assault rifle with Cryo, it's not very effective. Using a weapon that always freezes in one hit, like a Carnifex or Viper, is much more effective. You can freeze 5 or 6 people in one go, then shatter them with ease, if you know what you're doing, and if you have the right team mates.

Same here, though I do it more for Energy Drain. Everyone has shields, so it become a lot more useful.

I think you have to be on the Normandy for it to show up. Not sure, though.

It's all about stopping power. Making a group of enemies helpless. Using yourself only does so much.

Tali and Garrus freezing a krogan that's chargin you though? It's just ****ing awesome. It's GREAT as a support power if your team mates have the right guns.

As a soldier, I typically just use either Disruptor Ammo or Tungsten Ammo on the Vindicator. Infiltrator, I typically use Disruptor Ammo on the SMG, but I have heard that Cryo actually works very well with the Tempest or Locust.

And the Widow is cheap, it's too awesome even on Insanity.

Or as I usually do when I play as Mastermind Engineer. I pick Dominate and AI Hacking. I can just kick back and watch the krogans slaughter each other. Even more fun when I can assume control over Harbinger himself.

On the PC version it shows up just above Shepard's name as an Identity Code.
I couldn't tell you if it is any different on the XBOX though.

Thing is, isn't Incindiary ammo inherently better because it takes down armor much better than Cryo? I think that's why I dropped it, cuz they both are badass when their armor was down but Incindiary could take down their armor effectively, too.

Incendiary has it's uses. If you fully upgrade heavy pistols though, you don't actually need it. Even on Hardcore, Tali's Carnifex chews through armor like a turian chews through fresh meat. Remember, you can empty a Carnifex clip taking down a krogan's health on Hardcore. One shot from Tali FREEZES it. Doing this for multiple people on a constant basis? You essentially lock the enemy down, and can use powers and headhots to finish them.
