I'm not homosexual. Even if same sex relationships were an option, I'd still romance Garrus with all of my femsheps.

But I personally think the option should be there for those who want it. I just don't see how a company who can have lesbian relationships would be closed to the idea. They even recorded ALL of the lines for Same Sex relationships... they just didn't implement them.

Makes me kinda sad really...

Kaidan and Ashley were originally supposed to be romancable by both sexes but were cut due to time restraints. Hell Tali was supposed to be romancable in ME1, although that was cut at an earlier stage in development.

I wouldn't mind if they opened it up for 3, to be honest. Femshep and Tali's relationship definately looked like it could go that way if the writers desired. Same sex relationships might be more uncomfortable, and would require more time to foster and grow, and considering it's gotten a fair amount of support, it'll be interesting to see if Bioware does anything about it.

Still... as a guy who couldn't romance Tali in 1... I feel for some of the girls who wanted to romance her in 2. Maybe I just have perspective on it others lack... Some of the people in my family are homosexual. It doesn't really bother me.

They should at least allow you to tell the person how you feel. If the character turns you down, that's fine. Like Jack. She tells you she's not really into girls (despite having bisexual relationships in the past, and they even recorded lines for her an Femshep to have a romance... go figure.)

And why can't they do it like Garrus's romance? Where YOU mention it to to THEM? They don't have to come on to you. It would just be nice for the option for Shepard to bring up the idea to them, should they want to.
