I much prefer Garrus as a bro.
I agree.
But I just find it... sad... that the option isn't there for people who want it, when the took the time TO RECORD THE LINES.
Whatever. I can see I'm outnumbered.

Not what I meant. Not completely. If a character is already an established LI, don't change their preferences. Someone who isn't, go wild.RiptideX1090 wrote...

And I guess releasing it as DLC would be offensive in some way to some people.
Oh, well.
Shep got Tali. I'm happy.
Yeah?
And how would you feel if they did that to Tali in 2? Instead of giving you her, they just added a different quarian for you to romance?

my own 2 cents: what makes everyone think that everyone in the M E galaxy should be bisexual? you can imagine your shep is as gay as you want, that doesn't mean they should change the established personality of everyone else (except maybe kelly...) to make them also bisexual.

I know they won't be putting it in game, though. However, you are right. I'll end it.RiptideX1090 wrote...
Then let them change it for 3. Jack's preferances are known, but who is to say it can't change, espeically for the others?
Typical, coming from you. You support Deus Ex Machina when it suits you, such as with biological children, but when a concept that is actually feasible comes into play that you simply don't agree with, it's not an option. Hardly surprising.
Whatever. I don't want to have this debate again. I'm fighting an uphill battle.

Rip, in a perfect world, they would have implemented it all the way back in ME1. And even if people had a problem with it, after awhile and by now, they would get over it.
But I'm against reimplementation.
You were kinda the catalyst for starting the debate, my good sirRiptideX1090 wrote...

surely there must be more than one. these annoyingly recurring topics are pretty much a dime a dozen.RiptideX1090 wrote...

It just never ceases to amaze me how dense some people can be.

Well, if they had more time and resources they've would've made every game perfect. But that's a fairy tale. Mass Effect 2 is far from perfect, but it's still good. Good enough for us to care about it. As long as they keep that up, I don't care about small details like the same sex romance.

Wouldn't own the game, so I could care less.Goat_Shepard wrote...
hmm...if Tali wasn't a romance option in ME2, what would you do? Please avoid silly things like "torch Bioware HQ" or post a picture of Bioware's HQ
well, perfect or not people always love to whine and complain about their favorite political issue wether its with reguard to a video game, book, tv show or whatever. its pretty much our nature.Someone With Mass wrote...

I'd still buy the game. On my first playthrough at least, probably romance Jack. I would still love the game. Tali would be my Shepard's BFF.Goat_Shepard wrote...

i would play the game, love it, and find some other choice piece of ass for shep to tag, because honestly he really deserves it.Runescapeguy9 wrote...

I never said that. But there is a reason I only have 5 playthroughs of ME1 and 38 of ME2. I suppose noone else will ever see the games the same way I do. Oh well.Goat_Shepard wrote...
I'm serious, man! Tali not being a romance option in ME1 doesn't make ME1 suck, not one bit. Romance is less than 5% of the game.
