Same here.  I was wrong before, about the spoiler by a friend by the way.  (Talked to my roommate).  I was telling him about how there was a "big brother/little sister" sort of vibe after the trial.  He disagreed.

Then I talked to her after the loyalty mission.  Our jaws hit the floor so hard mine bruised.  Our next door neighbor heard the "Holy ****ing **** batman!" that tore out of us.  I hit a bunch of side missions immediately to open up the rest of te dialogue, said goodbye to Miranda, and Talimanced my way through the game.

It was cataclysmic. Except I was alone. Silence save for shallow breathing, no physical feeling except my heart beat, not even pressing any buttons, dumbfounded. Who would have thought my condition would worsen.

I like Kal and all.  However, he is not a stong enough force of personality for Tali.  Especially how she is in ME2.  She needs to be treated as an equal.  Kal would not be able to do that, as he is presented in the game.

It's not that he wouldn't be able to. It's that he currently isn't. If he slowly changes though (or goes through some sort of relevation), that could make for a good romance.

I don't know. I guess it's because I feel sorry for Jack. Her lifestyle wasn't exactly chosen by her completely. She was pretty doomed to the start: no education (which is kind of a knock against her as a love interest for me, actually), tortured, and indoctrinated by drugs that violence = good.

Kasumi on the other hand is a thief for...I don't know. She just is. It's harder to sympathize with Kasumi's profession because Kasumi doesn't give a reason as to why she is one.
