They have the largest fleet in the galaxy. I think they can hold their own in most cases.
If you came in a mission just to watch the quarians own all the enemies, where would the fun be.

Many of the quarians' civilian ships are combat-ready, and the have a sizable fleet of dedicated warships to back them up.
The Geth may have a bigger fleet, possibly. But quarians are still a formidable foe against most enemies.
Not going to argue this one again...have too many times in the past.
