Tali was born on the Rayya. I think he was vas Rayya, but was just working on the Alerai. Codex explains quarians often live on other ships for work if they need to.

No clue, actually.  We're never told his ship-name.

Edit:  Wouldn't make sense for him to be nar Rayya.  He couldn't have been born there:  you're supposed to join a different ship from your birth ship.

I always thought vas Alarei nar Rayya

I was under the impression that he was vas Rayya nar ???, but was working on his secret project on the Alarei without actually residing there.

Why not? Could be a mobil space station for all we know, a gift, or taken from a group of pirates. Would explain why it's been hell changing the registry if it was taken by pirates and then retaken by the quarians, as it would then be stolen property in the views of some.

The Rayya follows what seems to be the quarian design aesthetic.  I'd assume the liveships are all the same.

Anyway, isn't it that there's an admiral for ever 10,000 ships?

Could you have multiple vas [Ship Name]? I remember Tali talking about how her father's name would be stripped from every ship he served on, and at that point, it sounded like many ships.

I have, but not with anything approaching the attention I paid to ME.

If it's Leiliana's former lover or whatever, I don't see the call for Hawthorne levels of hate.  She was a jerk, but it seemed kinda meh.

This.  Tali'Zorah vas Normandy nar Rayya, not Tali'Zorah vas Normandy vas Neema nar Rayya.

Anyway, I think the ship an Admiral serves on is only incidental to his political position. Otherwise, why would Zaal'Koris talk about getting a transfer so glibly?

She betrayed Leliana by framing her for treason, causing Leliana's companions to die, and Leliana herself to be brutally interrogated until Leliana could find a chance to escape.
