Okay, I could argue the seductive thing from the tone of voice in some of those bits. Instead tho, I'm gonna pass out and sleep. Hopefully I can finish this chapter tomorrow.

Plus, she's not cute in that picture.

What defines Tali, people?

Her cuteness. Her nervousness.

I get the seductive air from that picture. That's not what Tali is. She's not seductive, she's a babbling, nervous quarian. That's what we love about her, is it not?

So much this.

Its just not distinctivly Tali enough.  Could be any purple skinned person/alien/anime character...

Except it is.  One of several done by the artist.

I'm with most on the bewbs.  The artist also doesn't get the toes right in another pic.  But the intriguing bit is that her nose is upturned a little, like it seems to be through the mask.

That's actually what I like about it.

It pays attention to one of her only known facial features.

The problem with it though, is that if it was posted anywhere else, I wouldn't recognize it as Tali.  Neither the eyes nor the nose are enough to define her.  I guess most fanpics of her would fail in this regard, but at least they generally include some part of her suit, to identify her.

Her physical appearance doesn't actually change any of this though.  No matter what she looks like, she's still the cute, babbling and nervous quarian.  No amount of sexiness/seductiveness or anything else with her facial appearance can take away the qualities that she already has

Alright, enough with the ****** humor. Repost!

*Shepard fastens the magnetic clasps of his Blood Dragon armor, Tali smiling under her helmet as the two prepare for the next mission.*

Tali: You know... Quarians had knights.

*Shepard turns to her before he place the helmet on his head, a smirk crossing his face and genuine interest in his tone.*

Shepard: Really?

Tali: Mmhm... They wore armor, traveled Rannoch, did great deeds, slew dragons...

*Shepard smiles as he walks over to Tali, his hand finding hers.*

Shepard: And did they woo maidens?

*Tali suppresses a giggle.*

Tali: Some. Those maidens would often give them a token, as well.

*Tali produces as long strip of cloth that matches the one wrapped around her suit, tieing it around his arm. Shepard smiles as he looks at the cloth, planting a kiss on the light of her voice modulator and bowing his head before fastening his helmet to his armor.*

Shepard: M'lady...

XVI: The Dream Out of Time

We fled that fane of otherworldly horrors soon thereafter, not wishing to remain to see the ghastly preparations the creature might take for its merciful departure from the realm of sane men. Miss Zorah, perhaps overcome by the terrible events of the night, happened to linger somewhat in that gruesome church, leaving my sight momentarily before my own whirling mind realized her absence. I admit a moment’s hesitation before hurrying back, but re-entry into the damnable place of such nightmarish doings was thankfully not required, for as soon as I began to return, I found her behind me. My attention must have discomfited her, for she self-consciously ducked her head and coughed, dabbing her hidden lips with a cloth. Again, perhaps I saw spots of blood on the handkerchief, but with only my lantern illuminating the fog-choked night, it was impossible to be sure. I would have inquired as to her health, but did not wish to pry further.

After accepting and returning a comradely clap on the shoulder, Inspector Vakarian retired for the night, clearly having much to think upon. I apprised Lieutenant Alenko of the general situation concerning the absent Cossack immigrants, though I confess I left out a great many details as to what precisely had transpired in the church. Knowing me of old, the lieutenant elected not to press me, a kindness for which I was sorely grateful. As for myself, I was eager to be abed as well, but had promised myself to examine Miss Zorah’s black book for a few pages more before allowing slumber to take its residence.

No sooner than I had begun to puzzle out the next section of strangely ciphered Prothean characters, however, than a thunderous noise was heard from the highest point of the town. Hurrying to my window, I saw that the decaying church had given way at last, the abuse both physical and moral seeming to have driven it beyond the point of architectural endurance. The mists stirred around its base, billowing with the collapse, and in the lurid light of numerous small fires begun with the building's demise I saw a vague shape waft upward from the wreckage. It appeared, at my considerable remove, to be a form of monstrous size borne aloft into the abyss of the night sky by the action of a great many smaller sets of wings working in unison.

Later, I would learn, the villagers examining the ruins found very little evidence of what might have caused the crumbling ancient structure but discovered that perhaps some of the immigrants had been secreted within the building and unable to escape the downfall of the edifice. The greatly mutilated state of the bodies, owing to the crushing action of the enormous stone blocks, prevented individual identification or even the positive assessment that the bodies were human. But what else could the grotesque organic remains have been, reasoned the simple, gently degenerated rustics of Greenmarsh. There were no other native townsfolk missing, nor any evidence that animals had begun living in the abandoned church.

Repostan! For great Justice (and that Liv hasn't seen it yet).
---------------
Distrust
Inspired by Thelacan and This song.

"Kaiden? They are putting Kaiden back on our ship?" Tali exclaimed in shock.

Shepard nodded. "That was one of the requirements for the Alliance specifically, and the Citadel in general, to give us their support."

"So you are working for the Citadel again?" she asked, crossing her arms. Her commander just smiled.

"Not a chance. I have their support, but that's it. They were less than thrilled when I explained that I'd get more done on my own than they would. I think they are concerned I will create an army and use it against them."

Tali uncrossed her arms and placed one on the commander's shoulder. "I know you better than that. They know you better than that." He put a hand over hers and she squeezed gently. "I trust you."

"Thanks Tali," he said. "I guess some of what they said bothered me is all." He shook his head. "Well, never mind that. Do you think I should assign him a bunk, or should I put him in port observation?"

The quarian considered for a moment. "I'd like to say put him in a bunk, but that is kind of petty," she allowed. "So probably observation. When will he get here?"

Shepard gave her hand final squeeze before standing. "In a couple of hours. Long enough for me to warn the away team. I hope everyone gets along."
---------------

A shadow fell across her in engineering. She spun around, knowing instinctively that it was not her commander. Standing before her was Alenko, in his blue Alliance uniform. She crossed her arms and leaned back.

"What can I do for you Alenko?"

The human frowned. "I thought we were friends Tali?"

"Friends?" She asked, disbelief in her voice. "We were friends before you decided that your precious Alliance was more important than Shepard. That, despite everything you know, you could not trust the commander."

He held up his hands. I know, and I'm sorry but..."

"No! there is no 'but'," she continued heatedly. "I hate Cerberus. For what they did to Admiral Kohaku, what they did to all of those colonists on the missions we went on, for what they did to the Flotilla." She shook her head. "For all of that, I wasn't going to abandon the commander. I never trusted Cerberus, but I have always trusted Shepard to know, and do, what is right."

Tali softened, seeing how hurt Kaiden looked to her words. "Look Kaiden. I understand loyalty to you people. I do. But blind loyalty only leads to you being used as a tool. I thought you were better than that."

The human nodded after a moment. "You've changed Tali. In a good way," he added when he saw her eyes narrow. "And you make a good point. I'll try to make it up to the commander, and you and Garrus, while I'm here." He held out a hand.

Grasping it firmly, she said, "It will take a while Kaiden. You're a good man; one day I'll trust you again. But right now, I have some work to do on the engines." She let go and turned back to her console.

Dejected, Kaiden walked out of engineering. He was so preoccupied, he collided with the body walking through the door headed headed towards. His shields went up on reflex when he felt a biotic push throwing him back.

"Watch it, ya little pansy!" Jack growled at him as she stomped down to her cubby hole in engineering. Kaiden just shook his head; there was a lot to get used to on the Normandy. It felt unsettling that he was now the outsider. Shaking his head, he headed to the port observation to get settled.

He had a lot of work to do to be part of the crew again.

I have a question for you folks, a nice gal over at the Garrus thread was talking about getting her masters in culinary arts then another poster mentioned making Garrus shaped cookies and then Tali shaped ones. I convinced her to go through with making Tali or even the whole crew cookies. She asked for a pic or screenshot to model after. Do you guys want to put forth a tali thread sanctioned pic for this model? If you don't care I'll grab one from my gallery.
