Well, dunno... Perhaps have Shep working in Zone as Guide? And Tali posing as a average stalker with gasmask put on non-stop to hide her gender? After all, no womens so far were seen in STALKER- Wait, actually in Clear Sky one of the guys in Agroprom mentions his girlfriend working with him...

I recall that.  I remember thinking, "holy sh*t is there actually going to be a woman in this game?"

The idea with the gas mask is kinda clever, though.

Let's think more about the characters...

Garrus - mutant hunter, working for Dolg?
Wrex - someone similar to Zulu from CoP?
Liara - scientist working in that bunker in Yantar/Jupiter?
Kaidan - technician?
Ashley - no idea...

Great artists steal them.

Thieves. All of them.

Thank you for the kind words.  You should give it another go.  I'm just a shallow imitator.

I assure you, you are marginally better at this most others I have read.

Very much agreed.

Imitation or no, you're definately one of the most skilled writers I've met.

Whoa, strong praise there from the A-team.  Sure you're not overstating the case a bit?  LOL.

During one of my little escapades, I went to the mountains for a trip and one of the things I brought was a sketchbook. I remember sitting on a precipice during the night, it was very cold, but I spent most of that night sketching the mountains and stars. Sirius was up then, and that was the focal point of one of my sketches.

Where, out of curiosity?  I've done similar, though obviously I wrote rather than drew.  I've still got some juvenile jottings from a trip to Philmont.

No.

You wanted to show them.

There is a difference.

Ashley would be one of those nameless military grunts you find all over the place.  Perhaps a military stalker.

Also, It would appear I chose precisely the wrong time to post my thoughts on the Migrant Fleet's dreadnoughts...

Why aren't you writing this?

I'd probably hew much closer to Roadside Picnic than STALKER.

Sturgeon's Law, Buddha. Anything decent pales any lesser work, which is nearly everything. I have read some pretty bad attempts at Lovecraft, this is refreshing because it's not bad.

Any literature that isn't bad literature must be good literature.

Or the dictionary.

Does it matter?

You're still going to show it.

Have at it.

Perhaps because I am rather sh*tty writer.

Still, I feel it's something most people should read for a bit, if for no other reason than because I'm tired of reading **** that never ventures to use more than three syllables.

I feel brevity is a nice medium all on its own.

When used for the purpose of being concise and easily understood.

Not because the author didn't make it past the eighth grade.

Arcian! Hah! I knew I'd find his name again, someday...
... Wait, that is the guy who trolled this thread with the husk avatar during 2.0 and most of 3.0, right?... :?
Edit: Damn. Shot down, again... :(
