As my above post conclusively shows, Miranda is the aggressor in the fight. Based on the actual in game dialogue.

And, there are more of us than you think that actually like the characters. I like all of them. I prefer Tali as a LI, but I do not hate any character. Well, except TIM. And Cerberus' ideal.

But that is a separate discussion.

No she is not. Jack came up there. If you know the characters well, you would know that Jack likes to start fights, miri does not. Even some Jack fans agree that Jack caused the fight and both characters are at fault. So stop acting like a fanboy.

You have zero facts to back your statements.  We do not know what started the argument.  We only know what was said in game - which you conveniently fail to acknowledge.

Also, what happened to Jack was a mistake.  No disagreement there.  But telling a person that they themselves are a mistake is nothing more than hostility. It is also a cheap shot that Miranda takes once Shepard is there to protect both of them and keep things from getting out of hand.

Get your fan zealotry under control kraidy, and let us discuss this like civilized people. Oh wait, I am forgetting how the internet works.

As for the Miranda issue.  I didn't hate Miranda until she tired on hyper **** mode during the suicide mission.  Up until that point, I was neutral towards her.  Though I think she is wrong where Jack was concerned - Jack's only psycho because Cerberus made her childhood a living hell.  I'd be a deadly biotic son of a b*tch too.  (But, uh, I probably wouldn't be wearing those chest straps.)

Jacob is fine.  He's just extremely dull for me to love or hate him.  And I'll tell you now, while I do really like Tali, Mordin is the best character of ME2 to me because he's a fascinating combination of traits.  I don't try to respect or dislike someone because they like a certain character more.  I'll correct them if they insult of a character I like without the right facts, mind you.  But other than that...life's got far more interesting things to do than worry about small stuff like that.

Yes indeed.  Been experimenting with skin shaders as well as re-modeling all the eyes for the characters to make them appear more lifelike.  Captain Anderson, Shepard, The Illusive Man, Miranda, and Ashley all look fantastic so far.  Going to be re-doing Tali's materials as well, along with finishing an original scene with the characters.

Why do you care?  We're not trolling the Miranda thread, are we?  Last I checked, we're perfectly allowed to hate Miranda here.  We don't interfere with your discussion, so don't interfere with ours.

Fighting hate WITH hate is the wrong way to handle things.  While I don't condone any unjustified Miranda-bashing in this thread (not that I'm around enough to really judge it), it's wrong to retaliate with the same mentality. 

Additionally, you're going to have to accept that there are some people out there who do HATE Miranda.  They exist, just as people exist who hate Tali.  Miranda is most definitely a cold **** at the start of the game (there's a dialogue option that even has this), and she remains somewhat cold for a considerable amount of time.  Some people arent' attracted to this personality type.

Personally, I think Miranda is interesting.  I don't approve of her outfit, nor the camera angles that show it off, but I think she's really quite interesting when you get to know her.
